excellent display of karate bt i fink itz too robotic ad not really gd in a real combat situation i do a mixture of martial arts such as taekwondo, karate, muaythai, boxing ad xtreme martial arts 4 showing off ad i jus doing BJJ ad i found out dat u need to be loose ad fast nt telegraphing ur moves so dat ur opponent readz dm trickery power accuracy ad speed name of the gme here bt still gd vid
heh, quite fun to watch. bunkais are alike in many styles, yr sweeps might work againts an inexperienced fighet. as far as im concerned uramawashi is a 90 % useless kick; no power, easy 2 block and take you down with lock. liked yr air kicks as leg exercise.
does most of the moves come from korean hapkido? like the ankle twists, and those forms at the end, the look very familiar to korean taekwon do poomse :D if i´m not wrong.
it is a mix of martial arts. However low kicks like fumikomi geri (unsu), sune geri, kin geri are also found in Shotokan, Combinations in video are from Karate, Kali, Krav Maga, Thai, Aikido, Shorinji kempo etc, BUT you could also say it's all karate as there is no teqnicues used that is not found in karate (and shotokan,)..it depends how you practise your karate, just standard kihon for grading, or a wider range of teqniques for self defense...(ex realistic bunkai)
Thanks. I absolutely reccomend to also try out other martial arts and styles than Shotokan which I feel often can be too much "DO" vs "Jutsu" ... but good idea to get your black belt before seeking cross-martial art experiense..
Punches are faster than kicks and are in general used more often for both attack and counter. Kicks often follow after punches in combinations. However the WKF competiotion rules now reward kicks to the head 3 points and kicks to the body 2 points vs a punch which gives 1 point. This is to make the fights more interessting to watch for the audience vs the old 6(half)point system where you got 2 points for kick to the head and 1 point to the body.
Great techniques, great karate school. I just have a question why is it that in karate competitions, the competitors use their hands a lot? Is it because kicks can be counterattacked easily? Keep up the excellet job.
Good technique but the music sucks
