Funny that all of the Ron Paul fanatics are calling David Gregory a douche and that he got "owned". David Gregory was pretty fair in this interview, IMO. It was a tough interview--but that's how Meet the Press is. It's a pretty objective show and I recommend watching it if you want to hear all sides of the story.

The federal government isn't taking money from the the economy, they are borrowing and printing the money. If it only spent the taxes it receives, its size would be cut in half.
Until the economy goes back to being a true free market, there's no way it can absorb the fired government employees or take up the slack from the reduction in government spending. Only when all federal taxes and regulations are abolished will the economy truly recover.

Ron described the problem with the Banksters' corruption and the triviality of the campaign debates quite accurately. However, he oversimplifies the solution when he proposes to do away with Department of Education, EPA, HUD, etc. That solution, like debt servitude under the Banksters, would cast millions of Americans into a future as perilous as the dark ages! Its a bad idea and RP should really think that idea over thoroughly and clearly!

Funny that all of the Ron Paul fanatics are calling David Gregory a douche and that he got "owned". David Gregory was pretty fair in this interview, IMO. It was a tough interview--but that's how Meet the Press is. It's a pretty objective show and I recommend watching it if you want to hear all sides of the story.

Ron Paul is wrong.
The federal government isn't taking money from the the economy, they are borrowing and printing the money. If it only spent the taxes it receives, its size would be cut in half.
Until the economy goes back to being a true free market, there's no way it can absorb the fired government employees or take up the slack from the reduction in government spending. Only when all federal taxes and regulations are abolished will the economy truly recover.

@xWren I agree, he asked the questions that, to you and I, are softballs and obvious. Problem is he cut Doc off just when he was about to deliver a decisive conclusion after building the base to his argument. He also quickly changed subject also reducing the impact of Doc's message.

Through out almost the entire video, there are digitally implanted (Flaws) on Paul's face. It look's like there are liver spots on Ron's face.
It makes Paul (& his ideas) look old.
I know these digital flaws appear ever so often, but C'mon!? It keeps happening through the entire interview & it only happens on Paul's face, not the hosts.

Think about it, of all the candidates, Ron Paul is more educated about government finances, more credible, more knowledgeable about The Constitution, and more knowledgeable about American foreign policy than all of the other candidates put together. So, is it logical to vote for Obama, Perry, Bauchman, or Cain because you find one little flaw in Paul, or you think he wont win because you think he is too extreme, when he speaks the truth of how to get this country going in the right direction?

Having spent years in TV News with CBS, NBC and PBS etc., I can tell you that very few in the Pentagon controlled mass media, know or care about anything beyond how their hair looks, and moving-up the corporate media back stabbing ladder with dreams of national exposure and mega-salaries.
