Wow that took a while. Im a soldier and can kill him in six shots with a sniper that i got off him that does 346 times 6. plus an easier way to beat him is stay next to the rock to the right and when he jumps you, you can land on top and kill him much faster. Hope this helps. (:

@keybladeoftheyear I think a lot of people don't realize that this video was taken within the first 24 hours of the DLC being released. I was one of the very first people to fight and beat Crawmerax. At this time no one knew about the glitch spot or that he wouldn't engage if you hid behind the pillars. Like most of you I can defeat Crawmerax quickly and easily now but remember at the time all I knew was that I wanted him dead.

There's gear calculator that allows you to create normal, legit gear. If something will be wrong, if you put eq code in save editor, you just won't get this eq (it won't show in backpack)

Also one funny thing - did you know that Borderlands had grenade launchers?? Yes - grenade, not rocket. I have PC version, and when i was playing with modding program, i saw a g-launcher's part's o.O

I made grenade launcher and i tell ya - more powerful than rocket launcher, but very slow. And there is a grenade launcher barrel with 6-8 mini barrels :)

They were shooting big (high damage) or small (faster shooting) brown grenades.

But after patch, you can't made an grenade launcher...

If i understand what you're saying (english is not my primary language), you saw guy with modded weapon. The lastest patch deleted modded weapons, but you can still make weapons witch correct parts. Before that you could made a machine gun with unlimited ammo (because of The Dove barrel part) and extremly high damage (because of some launcher/sniper parts). It was really annoying. One shot did 8k damage for example.

No,not really.All I'm saying was,that I saw some people with Shields that allow them to take no damage.Those shields are called Rose Omega.And,of course, modded weapons.

For example the Shredder Serpens.A caustic weapon with 315 x 3 damage and 106 shots.

Meanwhile,I figured out,that the only way,to not get one-shot killed in Borderlands nowadays,is to use modded shields/weapons...Which ruins the game.

But with the lastest patch (released with Armory of General Knoxx) it's impossible to create modded eq that can't exist in game. You still can create eq but it must be legit. You can't create now Rider with scope (or sniper rifle without scope) or shield with 10k capacity

'cause I just got a Shield with a capacity of 86k a weapon that deals 91k DMG per shot.

Hmm. Well - i thought that this patch is repairing this "bug". I can't create this powerfull weapons. I tried to create shield with biggest capacity - 2,3k - and that's it. I'm using best parts (but the shield is still legit) and that's the biggest capacity i've got.

Well, nevermind. Many people don't know that you can create weapons, so the game is still cool in multiplayer :). Today or tommorow i'm going to buy this DLC

It's not so dufficult to kill Crawmerax, it just takes time...I did it also solo but got kickedl down that god damn cliff about one billion times... The only thing you need is lots of ammo... I preferred a Defender mod, with a quick-reg shield and a blast saviour smg + a combat guardian an an intense destroyer. And like mp1434 transfuion grenades for the more critical moments.

With that equip it is just a question of time and coffee to kill this crap/b

i found that the best way to do this is with (obviously), a siren with 50 revolver skill. use a masher with at least 300x7 damage and lay his ass out.

Out of curiosity, how many characters have been in those games that you've killed him 40 times and have 20 pearlesscents, unless you just have 1 and duped it 20 times. I've killed him ~60 times now and I've seen a single pearlesscent shield.
