  • Do whatever you want Paul, just DON'T dance!

  • Haha! Yes, it is. Although, if you haven't already, be sure to check out the completely live performances of "Sugar Free" and "Gone" on the Arsenio Hall Show that I also have uploaded to my youtube page.

  • certainly is just listening to the sound quality

revisiting a special time in my life

how gorgeous and talented are Paul and Steve

  • classic!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man i was so in love with the lead singer back when i was 12 i wanted to marry and have his babies hehehe. Still hot to look at.

  • I MISS THE 80'S. Back when the radio played actual music.

  • Damn I say that all the time!

  • Still chuckling over the pre line about the young brother loving the nee! Has anyone had any luck finding either of the CDs in he second hand spots around Melbourne? Someone shold contact Paul or Mark and see if they can burn us all copies. Miss these guys ... still blame D-Gen guys for ruining their career (heh, heh).

  • what did D Gen do? (dare I ask?)

  • They relentlessly bagged them on their radio show. It was like a campaign or something. I think that probably swayed a lot of public opinion about WWN. We were still very much a pub culture in those days so a local band who sounded American and used keys the way they did had an uphill battle. D-gen were just perpetuating the bogan culture. Rather unsophisticated for a bunch of otherwise sophisticated comedian types. Still love D-gen despite it.

  • cheeky buggers. we never got their radio show in Bris.

  • My dad told me to "turn down my f@#king radio", when this song came out and I had my ghetto blaster up full bore.

  • Haha GHETTO BLASTER the days when it was called that lmao

  • someone please upload the film clip to this song, i love that cute chick with the striped shirt in it.

  • it's been uploaded before but the record companies are trawling the site slashing stuff.

  • great aussie band, love this band

  • This song also featured in the move Satisfaction starring Julia Roberts, classic movie!

  • Wow... the Bandstand Set was kind of crappy. The set they had from 82-87 was superior to even Soul Train at that time... And (to be on topic, lol)... I did like this song more than "Sugar Free"

  • I do too.

  • this song makes feel uneasy and uncomfortable like theres a gayness when ever i look back at these old 80s songs ans how i used to love this song and songs from this era

  • Thanks for posting this video. Man, I love this group back in the day.

  • this is weird

  • check the dude on the bottom right corner of the screen who cuts loose on the dancefloor right at the beginning. brutha loves the NEE!

  • The singer looks like an older version of child actor Haley Joel Osment

  • omg he does too! haha.

  • LOL

  • Mean Maori Mean, I've always liked this song, didn't know they were Aussie's until my bro told me when he said he saw them live one time. Choice post!!!

  • I feel like I am sixteen again back home in Sydney ........

  • woops that was an accident sorry

  • found this a few weeks ago this song has just kept me high since. a real turning point, that sounds 'gay', but i've really realized how beautiful the eighties was. so much positivity. i need to channel that energy

  • great, someone upload the the film clip to this song

  • yeah, i'd love to see the video for this song

  • There are some pretty groovy moves going down on that dance floor. Yuppie yahhhahhhh.

  • Whoever said time travel was impossible? I've just been transported back to my 9 year old dancing body...never could understand the lyrics but who cares!?

  • I also have a copy of Wa wa nee playing on SOLID GOLD at the time and they were introduced as "The WANEE!"

  • top stuff!! and while in america the lead singer came second in a Haley Joel Osment look a like contest

  • Whatever! He's a shoe-in for the annual LIMAHL Lookey-Likey festival. You know *nothing*.

  • Wow.
