  • That bloke on the turntable, what's he doing there. He's like the modern day percussionist. They feel sorry for him so they chuck him a tambourine.

  • thanks for the upload!

  • jebman18...your birth was a accident! To say Moby is gay is complete stupidity. Now go away before I slap you...

  • moby is great!

  • Crowd seems to enjoy it so...

  • Eh. The only Moby song I like is Porcelain and this cover is fucking gay and I got here on accident. Peace!

  • @jebman18 you are gay if you like only Porcelain, propably the softest song from Moby ;)

  • Just iistened to radiohead playing it. Now Moby, both F****k brilliant

  • DONT fuck with this cover! It's actually very well made and makes me feel more connected to the festival and performance even though i wasn't there.

Think about it. Moby is a electronica/ambient artist that really did a great job covering a rock song.

  • if you wanted to hear, radiohead - creep, dont fucking watch the moby version, ofcourse hes going to put his own twist on it, jesus...

  • Gosh Moby is so shite. Even more shite than Radiohead!

  • @tommyjumbo dont watch the video then?

  • moby is not a singer...it's a musician!!!!

and you must admit that he is a great musician because he makes lots of good music and he plays any instrument you give him to play!!!

MOBY IS THE BEST and i dont even like so much this type of music but for moby i open an exception! xD

  • better than the origial version

  • I was actually waiting to see what would happen with "Run" and he just laid back and let the instruments guide the song without him. Almost as equally impressive as Thom singing it.

  • Wanted him to play Creep like a cheap immitator???? NO. But he could have attempted to sing it. But I'm glad I watched this. I've often wondered who this cheap mix master wannabe was. He shoudl apologize to Radiohead.

  • How can Britain have music snobs when the Bob the Builder song dominated the charts there for so long??? LOL!

  • this is a remix of creep by moby!!! just like a dj!!

  • LOL...MOBY SINGING that song...sucks...radiohead only

  • one chord is absolutely wrong, it's a B, not a Bm...

  • its called interpretation.....

how many versions of a story re-told are 100% like the original???

never, it adds 'moby's' signature to the piece...

personally i'm not a fan of this cover, however the change of chord grabs the audiences attention...like it did yours...

and the chord is not wrong, the key is G.

the 3 chord in G is a Bm. theoretically a Bm is correct however radiohead use both Bm and B throughout their version of creep.

  • sure. But in my opinion, if a chord makes you change the vocals, then the chord is wrong.

  • it's a pretty good cover.. moby's never been the best singer but he is a phenomenal musician with plenty of soul :)

  • It looks like moby is eating the microphone making out with it

    or something....gross...

  • im a massive radiohead fan and I quite like this version. I bet the band members liked it as well

  • yankee.....

  • well at least he played live...

  • That turntable removes all credibility from this performance.

  • what the fuck do you know

  • That's a broad question. All I know is that a turntable has its place, and it aint here. If I know anything, I know that. Does that answer your question?

  • being that moby is known for his techno rock style i dont see anything wrong with his use of a turntable......so going back to my original statement what the fuck do you know

  • It's crude and lacks the refinement that this song deserves. The use of sampling is also completely inappropriate. In effect, I feel that it's a misjudgement on his part for its inclusion, and would have done well to rely on the serenity of the violins, which gives this song a wonderful balance, until its destroyed by Run DMC. Back to your original question. I know two languages, I know how to split the atom and I know that it's pretty much pointless asking someone 'What the fuck they know'.

  • is that why he performed at glastonbury and you never will....instead of learning stuff you'll never use like splitting an atom you should put your money where your mouth is

  • Performing at Glastonbury or not performing is beside the point. I've explained why I feel the turntable is inappropriate, it makes no difference whether I'm a musician or not, I'm still allowed to have my opinion. That'll do, I've lost interest in the subject now. It's been pretty much exhausted, wouldn't you say?

  • sorry mate,but I like it :D

  • This sucks, Dead Emotion phew.

  • lol it would be decent if they didnt have that fucking turntable

  • Comment removed

  • he can't sing out the spirit of the song

  • shit shit shit .. i wanna scream its fucking goood

  • sexy violinists:)

  • un himno ala musika creep

  • nono, this is a good version!!

    moby is great!

  • sounds like a hill billy cross 90s hip hop cover

  • It's great. And he did it because Radiohead (as usual) refused to place it themselves. I was there and it was a great night. :)

  • i like both artists but i guess moby was not lucky on this cover ...

  • nice

  • hail eno ,,,moby would never have existed

  • very bad.

  • great cover. i all this criticism? you guys wanted him to play creep like a cheap immitator of radiohead?

  • I think the same, great :)

  • tears for fears also sang it better than moby almost as radiohead, who cares about tears for fears., look at right,

moby exactly knows that he cant overtune the original, but moby is a great composer, i had many of his records, and if he loves and respects radiohead for creep and likes the song so much, let him sing it. He is a genious.

  • Terrible!

    none feeling!

  • horrible!!!!

  • no paga

  • Great cover. It seems to me like he picked up a slight British accent while he was over there lol. :P

  • Fucking awesome cover. Great Moby.

    Igorac79 - Recife/PE - Brazil

  • Moby did a fair job. Its a different take on a great song.

  • omfg you shitheads ,its a cover, you can do whatever you want

  • jesus christ he didn't even take the time to learn the lyrics

  • Listen at 3:59-4:00 he play's the wrong tone, but anyway great cover! :D

  • A nice take on a good song. Apart original, which is always the best, I like Northern Kings' version most.

  • "I wanna lose control"

  • this guys singing just doesn't touch thom york's

    not a bad cover tho

  • word i like moby on a level of like hes trying and he does make ok music but im down for moby. hes alittle to off not wierd just off. thom is my homie at least his writing and the bands imput you know but i like how he says why he covers it gives this air to the song and other bands backstage like its a inside joke to play creep. keep in mind i dont know but its a good guess. creep by beck was cute and fun, respectful. creep by moby=newsong, respect, pdiddy style. but i dont like moby that much.

  • HUH??? ;-)

  • um...was that english?

  • You'll never touch the original but this has got to be one of the best takes on it there is, dj scratching? Violins? Fooking Awesome!

  • too much scratch, otherwise great cover

  • Thats right

  • moby just ownes the song!

WTF is wrong with being out of tune? its F#ing special :D

  • jesus guys call it a tribute, its an awesome song (by radiohead) but moby put his own twist on it, loving the dj scratching in the background! See it for what it is! x

  • wow this is dog shit. way to butcher the song there, buddy.

  • I like it...

  • Me to

  • Argggg sorry, but does he know hes out of tune for the MAJORITY of this song?

  • I like it, but no one does it like radiohead besides

    they missed the awesome screaming

    u______u

  • rly MOBY is 1 of the best

  • moby pwns!!!

  • yeah everyone shut the f#*k up and listen.

I like Moby. I like Radiohead.

All covers should be looked at as the bands interpretation of the song, THAT THEY LIKE & RESPECT THE SONG and the artist they are covering.

  • oh god, stop fighting guys, yeah, i dont really like moby, and i think radiohead has WAY better songs than this, but its interesting to see them trying, just watch the video or...dont.

  • moby sucks ass, give him a turntable already...

  • moby rules. but creep is only creep when it is played by radiohead. the ass-kickin guitar is missing

  • I agree, besides, radiohead considers CREEP as their biggest failure (talent-wise), though, its the song that made them big. But radiohead themself hate this song, so i cant see how it will benefit moby from performing it.

  • You fucking blow

  • moby fucking blows

  • It is not good....

  • MOBY IS THE SHIT

  • I was there, and have been every year since, apart from the off year, and this by far was and still is the most memorable end to the festival I have ever seen, a quality cover, for the best festival, you can keep V, O2 Reading and Leeds, Glastonbury puts all of them to shame, this is how a festival should be.

  • i really really hate his voice. nice take on the track though.

  • very good!!! better than korn!!! lol

  • very good cover.

  • Yeah! :) Nice touch with turntables too

  • Much respect for Moby, he's a fantastic musician and person...

  • Anyone here would have jumped at the chance to do Creep if Radiohead had asked them to do it

  • thiss,,vedio not goodd,,

    huuhuhhu

  • nirvana do a version to this song too

  • no way, the song that you are talking about is negative creep, this is a calssic radiohead song

  • 2| or for commerecial appearience, its very popular song

  • acidflush, guess why lol, use your brain, or youre just brainless "creep"?:) he is playing it because: 1|he likes that song, its text

  • richard cheese did the only cover of creep worth listening to.

  • Pauvre Thom....

  • watch again you dick. He said Thom Yorke asked everyone to cover it, so he obliged. He was the last act of the weekend and this was a brilliant way to close the festival after Radiohead headlined the night before. I was there and thought it was amazing. Its not supposed to be as good or better than Radiohead doing it.

  • again you stupid prick, its a tribute. its not supposed to be as good or better than Radiohead's original. I like it because i was there. The 80 000 other people who were also there (and also watched Radiohead the night before) also loved it. Stop being such a piss flap. If you hate Creep covers so much why watch them?

  • your a fascist. shut up.

  • "its not supposed to be as good or better than radiohead doing it", im agree, but of course is so much wors than the original radiohead one

  • Again... ITS A TRIBUTE!!! haha. NOT an attempt to be as good as the original. He had never covered it before, and to my knowledge since. He responded to Yorke's request to cover the song as Radiohead didn't play it the night before. As the last song of the entire festival, i think it was a good attempt and a very fitting tribute to Radiohead, who basicallly made the festival theirs. Comparing it to the original is pointless.

  • of course i understand what you say. By the way: so radiohead didnt play it? do you know why is that? maby they are tired of the song...

  • perhaps it was because they are a bit tired of it. It was their launch pad to success and must have played it a million times before. I don't think they play it very often at all now.

But also, it was because they had just released 'Hail to the Theif' so much of their set were songs from that album.

  • oh right thanks for the tip

  • they hardly ever play creep in concert, there's maybe 2 performances in the last 10 years. they despise the track, hence My Iron Lung.

  • cool sound but the guy cant sing 4 shit

  • He doesn't even know the lyrics

  • Buena versión. en esa rollo eelctronico de MOby, pero muy chida.... claro RAdiohead es la neta, pero esta chia asi.

  • shite.

  • they are*

  • I usually like the bands to change the song their covering.. changing a little bit the style to make their own touch. But i got to say I did not like it at all. Moby has great songs but this cover is really bad, I think.

  • well at least he said "so fucking special" instead of "so very special".

  • i tell you what's so funny about moby's look? you get any a skinny pasty white guy who's bald and wears glasses and people think his moby

  • lol

  • in my opinion, it's a good cover by moby. The Radiohead original song is awesome but this cover sounds very well with moby's music style. No needs to sound like original version to be a good interpretation. Maybe if Radiohead cover "lift me up" will not make a good job, or maybe the Oxford's band will make a nice job.

  • esta version es malisima

  • good version but whats wiv the scratchin

  • I don't know what is wiv the scratchin?

I personally thought that the scratchingG was quite good...

  • This song just sums up Glastonbury in 2003, it was the best show finishing with this amazing song, you had to be there to appreciate it

  • i was kinda on the fence about this at 1st. then when they used the violins in leu of words during the 2nd hook, I thought it was pretty sweet over all.

  • i want to have control not lose control

  • are you kidding, that's the most ridiculous cover of that song ever...bad voice, the guitar is noise rather than music

  • no no no... korn's cover of this song is MUCH worse... sure, moby's can't compare to the fantastic radiohead, but korn's version is just a joke...

...by the way, moby's amazing whether or not this cover was that good

  • So what if it could be argued that mobys version of creep isnt good. His work as an artist speaks for itself. He has done many good songs and the liveacts that ive seen have been spectacular.

  • If Radiohead wasn't gona play creep that day, then someone else would. lol

  • Moby \o/

  • That wasn't bad at all. The mixtable inclusion was probably my favourite alteration. The violins were a nice touch, as well.

  • This is no good...

  • Moby is an awful singer....just plain terrible....Thom Yorke should go punch him in the face after this one....

  • only decent song lol!! get a grip mate, theres plenty of radiohead songs better than creep

  • wow.. u are a fuckin moron sammy... for serious

  • moron

  • FUCK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

  • great

  • Tom yorke asked him to play it,they played the saturday night stayed to watch moby. Its good to see headliners stay and watch the others,as REM did as well.Great year that glastonbury,no rain and a proper summer.

  • Thom told every band to play his song? No wonder there are so many covers to this song. Remarkable song

  • La versión de Radiohead es unica, pero Moby le salió muy bien Creep.

  • It's hard to beat Thom Yorke

  • good job by moby but Thomme yorke does it better.

  • I don't know what some of the people here are talking about, I think this is pretty good. I'm not saying it's better than Radiohead, but Moby does a good job.

  • musically horrible. vocal performance bland. etc.

  • i like that....

  • i like his interpretation though!

  • he should not have sung this song.

  • ATTENTION TO ALL THE HATERS:

    1. Moby didn't want to cover this song. It wasn't his decision. Radiohead wanted several bands to cover it.

    2. Moby is a great artist. He's good at making electronic music. He's not the greatest singer in the world. AGAIN: it wasn't his own decision to sing this song.

    3. STFU, already. And get a life.

    4. pudding

  • dude youre so funny:P pudding is my stop word XD youre right about the haters though, moby is fuckin great at electronic music. I love porcelain (L)

  • and thats an example of why Moby is classed a a spectacular performer/writer/dj/producer. He's so fuckin special.............

  • the scratching sound is weird.................

  • this is certainly one of the better covers of this song. it's such a simple song, but so many people manage to cock it up.. except radiohead of course, who's original attempt to cock it up made it awesome, haha.

  • i like moby so much, but this cover is poor in feeling, thats where a few bands can fight vs radiohead

  • If i still remember, Radiohead also performed in Glastonbury 2003. well, I can't deny that I love Thom's voice more than Moby's. But Moby turned this song into a more electric one! Just like the disco remix version of Creep.

  • Very nice, moby is a genius. clap clap for this song

  • haha horrible, even got some words wrong

  • this version rocks more then radioheads performance..

    Moby kicks ass!

  • You've got to be kidding me right? No one can top Radiohead, particularly at their own songs.

  • korn's version is even worse!

  • korn and moby should stay away from sacred rock n' roll. this song means so much to so many people and he just screwed it up.

  • Radiohead hates this song. So Moby plays it, in a totally different way. Nothing wrong with that I'd say.

  • Bullshit, how the hell Radiohead let Moby to do this. Moby I love your stuff, but this is one is pretty pathetic...

  • nobody should cover radiohead. ever. ever. ever. ever.

    ever.

    ever.

    ever.

i say that because every radiohead cover i've ever heard has been shit. and this one's no exception - creep doesn't really work as a countrytechno song, sorry.

  • Its Kinda Weird....But C'mon its a cover.....a version of your own of the song
