Hey Bush was putting American lives on the line it's a totally different thing than a stimulus bill. I'm not saying this bill is perfect dems are at fault for filling it with tons of programs but it's something, something congress wasn't willing to do before.
Congress has been ineffective for years with putting in programs that aren't needed I'm with you on that we'd never been able to make the very short decleartion of independenace or consitution in today's political atmosphere they put in tricky language so they can alwasy say why the opposes or supported a bill if it comes up fore re-election which is all msot of them are worried about Though I don't think Spector is worried about re-election he just wants jobs no matter what to save his state.
