My mother used to make stove-top bread when I was little. She'd make it ALL the time and it was so, so good. She passed away years ago and I never got a chance to get her recipe. The way you make yours looks just like she used to make. I found your video and currently have a pan of it cooking on the stove. :) I will pass this video along to her sister, my aunt. It's really cool stuff, nice and chewy! I like to rip it up with cheese and wine or sop up gravy with it. It takes a little practice to get it right but once you do, youv'e got it made!
Glad you like it. As basic as it is, this bread is cooked by millions but we don't know it much in this hemisphere. I saw it first when visiting a mountain people in Morrocco back in the sixties. -Chef Remy C=:-)
