An American adaptation of the book is very welcome, and seeing Rooney as Lisbeth, and looking much better for it than Noomi, it is very exciting....

@JODIEXDETH It's not a remake. It's just a different adaptation of the book. It's like when the Coens redid True Grit last year. They didn't want to remake the original John Wayne film, they just wanted to do their own take on Charles Portis' novel. And with Fincher in the director's chair, that should be a good indicator that it's going to be a worthwhile film.
