@LightningrodC2 yoshi's ground game improves significantly with this, L cancelling just way easier which is why you might not find it useful, buh if you have it down to a point you can out-space people lyk a kid running for the ice cream van. Mean no disrespect but i've just got a thing against ppl who troll, can i be blamed?

@LightningrodC2 its not melee, but its still smash...although i play melee aswell (have some uploaded if not believed) i'm gonna say to melee techs - More stupid techs. This isn't 64 (where L cancelling diminishes ALL lag) - stop being arrogant and use your fast paced brain to 'easily' learn brawl techs and use them against people instead of judging it, cause even with melee techs i don't see 'lightningrodC2' nxt to people like axe, M2K or armada

Isn't this the Brawl equivalent to wavedashing? Shame only Yoshi can do it.

but all you can do out of a dash is usmash, dash attack, and grab

I usually dash then jump, you can use Yoshi's odd double jump while using dair to actually take your opponent up with you like an uppercut. This is easier with the bair, but harder to do out of a dash. Yoshi has a mean aerial game when you master his crazy double jump.

Does it matter? This opens new possibilities for Yoshi. He can now dash into the opponent and do any move despite whatever your strategy is.

yup, combination of foxtrotting and draconic reverse. If it were only a fot trot, he could not be able to cancel it to a jab...
