Architectural styling in Monterey is hideous. Enough with the antiquated Romanesque arches and outdated adobe style buildings. History has it's place....... the past. Modern cities in Europe incorporate the new with the old and it works well. Seems like the City is stuck on a failed period of California past.
Nice videos. I used to live in Aptos, California near Santa Cruz for almost 20 years and I went down to Monterrey from time to time. I lived in Aptos from 1985 till 2004 and I have since moved out to the Lake Tahoe area. I graduated from Aptos High School.
