I'd still have the Aston. Every time you see it on the drive, you'd always stop and drool over it. Every time you drove it, that little part of your heart would just be the happiest thing alive. To me, that's what Aston Martin does, it makes something that gets to your heart.

New cars are very rarely launched with new engines. Too much risk. They normally stagger launches.

I know, I work for Jaguar. The AJ133 (5.0 V8) was launched before TATA's purchase and subsequent cash injection.

Have a check, BMW, Merc, they all do it. It's rule no.1 - never launch a new engine with a new car; the warranty returns are too high !

The "old" XKR/XK8 was a superior looking car.........this one is just all over the map, style-wise. It's a mish-mash of styling cues...it really doesn't come together.........the grill mouth is too small, the "Aero" front dam/splitter dropping straight down to the ground looks out of place. Please Jaguar, return to the rounded look of the old one.........don't be riding everyone elses bandwagon.
