Paul is a master of music people say george is one of the top guitarists and no disrespect cause hes truely amazing but watching paul on piano then guitar in other songs i feel like he was the greatest musician in the beatles. This song wasn't about Patti Boyd, and contrary to popular belief, neither was the song "Something". (George Harrison himself said he was thinking of Ray Charles when he wrote "Something"). This song was written one day, after George had read "I Ching", when he decided that he was going to open a book and write a song based on the first words he saw, those words were "Gently weeps". Clapton plays the guitar solo on the officially released studio recording as well.

George`s songs were every bit as good as John and Paul`s after 1966. Most of the songs on All Things Must Pass were written during his Beatle time but would never have been heard since he generally got 2 songs per album. He got his friends together and recorded everything and released them in 1970.
