  • i suck at these problems

  • Hey, ok if he don't believe in it let him let him do bad stuff to his future and don't get into what he thinks

  • @SuperHohmo STFU U BITCH GO FUK URSELF

  • I didn't even hear much of it lol

  • mid terms

  • Asvab in January too

  • ASVAB IN January

  • can u work out this problem plz? A computer is on sale for $1600, which is a 20% discount off the regular price. What is the regular price? im getting the $1920 is this correct.

  • Cookie monster is cooler than elmo

  • Blah blah blah un intresting uknow what is cool mw3 on wii will it be fun yes or no if any girl reads this i want to go out with u if ur cute text me my number is 321432 5904

  • Sigh, there's 3 cases of percent problems. Finding the percent of a number, finding the percent one number is of another, finding a number when a percent of it is known.

Note that, Is goes on top while Of goes on the bottom. Is/Of

30% of 90, You are trying to find what number.

    IS/OF solving like a porportion

    30/100 = n/90; 2700 = 100n; 27 = n

What percent of 60 is 15? You are trying to find what percent.

    n/100 = 15/60; 1500/60 = 60t; T= 25%

    18 is 450% of what number; 450/100=18n; n= 4

  • ORRRRRRR YOU COULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND JUST DO:

    16 = x

    100 250 then multiply 16 and 250 and get 4000 then divide by 100 :D

  • @caligirllove123 Hey thats a good one, does it work with all problems?

  • where did you get the 10 from?

  • @AntiChristClub---Indeed, he could have told everyone how he come to the #10. This one is easy cause all of the #'s in this problem is simple to our minds because we have to divide by 4 and 10 all the time because of our Dollar. I know why he chose a easy problem but it could have been harder. Oh, and what's with the whole anti-Christ thing? juss wondering, I never could understand why people would like evil things idk write back

  • @mandienpete08 This profile was made when I was 16 I am now 20. And back than I was in to not exactly Satan but kind of. I just remember I was really depressed and hated everyone and everything. Most of all I was Anti Religion. So now what stood with me the most was,I am still anti religion. When Most people think of Christ,or when I do what goes with it is christianity. Christianity is one of the dominant religions,AntiChrist sounds cooler than AntiReligionClub to me.

  • @AntiChristClub--- lol k, thanks for your reply. Please don't think I was being a hater lol. I used to be all goth n into dark things but I got over that really fast. Indeed, religion is a pain in the ass and it is destroying the Earth and a simple Human way of life. I almost wish there was no such thing cause then we could worry bout the fun things in life like science and technology :) Im a nerd though so not everyone agrees :)

  • @mandienpete08 well said.

  • @AntiChristClub fuk u god made u and u throw away religion seriously fuk u and btw i bet and jayz do the 69 togeta!!!!!! but seriously fuk u

  • @SuperFatboy7thst lol i wouldn't call him like that especially your name of you tube including that SuperFatBoy name so stupid even if you watch it your getting help from the guy so stop acting like a dumb ass and learn from this chanel if your watching it

  • @mandienpete08 YOU LOZER IDOT YOU DONT BELIEVE IN CHRIST. DO YOU LOOK UP IN THE SKY AND SAY THERE IS NO FREAKEN GOD, YOUR STUPID. STUPID LOZER.

  • to hell with this ..im cheating like they do in the major universities!

  • or you can just divide 16 by 100 which gives u .16 and multiply that by 250. you get 40.

  • I set up the problem by 16/100 = x/250 and I still got 40

  • why didnt the internet exist when i was in school :)

  • ASVAB in two weeks. these are great for reviews

  • @Pohnpeiann lol that's why i looked these up

  • you could also do it like this 250 x 16 = 4000 then / that by 100 = 40....... a % is always by 100

  • Where do you get the 4 over 25? im so fucking frustrated.

  • @WereGlidingWithStyle 16/4 = 4 do the same thing to the denominator, we're simplifying. 100/4 = 25

    Thus 4/25

  • I have a lot of these lessons saved onto my account. These are real life savers I'm confident that I'll pass my ASVAB now :)

  • this is very helpful! OMG

  • great teaching and love the stare down at the end ;)

  • the girl is better

  • OMG going to khan academy.

  • You know whats easier Put in the calculator .16 times 250

  • @oscarhood10 if you plan on going to college then youre in for a rude awakening

  • @EnvelopedInDarkness omfg i was just saying, it is easier anyway but i know how to do all this stuff anyway

  • Oh *BLEEP*! That is so *BLEEP* cool! I feel so *BLEEP* good i think I can solve any *BLEEP* problem. (okay, okay. I can't.) But *BLEEP* it! I might like math more than I used to.

  • wow that is easy

  • bullshit for retards.... 16*250:100 = 40...

  • Thumbs up if you are here because the California STAR test tomorrow!

  • u need 5 hour energy bra!!

  • perfect thanks

  • thanks boro

  • Uggh I Have A Test Tomorrow Hope Its Helps Wish Me Much Luck !

  • I'm gonna start watching online ppl teach now, I don't know why I never thought of this!,

  • Being in 7th grade, I only started this and this helped

  • how about 12.5% ?? and 16 2/3 % ??

  • i cant understand him AT ALL

  • This guy is great. So relaxing and I UNDERSTAND HIM>

  • i love this guy i so need more help in this though

  • i dont know why but i can concentrate better when he talks

  • so.. very ...very..sleepy..

  • holy shit...im in college and watching this video has been the easiest way ive ever seen to solve percents. rock on man...thank you

  • Thank Youu So much

  • he could've just turned the 16% to a decimal .16 and multiplied 250= 40

    do the math 250X .16=40

  • @supawoman130 I like your answer much better, thanks

  • i'm gonna take the asvab exam this afternoon. The recruiter says that calculator is not allowed, This is a very big help. thanks

  • great lesson thanks

  • great job! for a quick lesson,i will be doing an exam soon and i think this has helped me understand, thanks geothegreat

  • y the hell do you have to do it the most complex way?

  • these videos are good for going over a test, their short and simple. not like the other 8 minute videos where they talk for 9 minutes! >.<

  • why dont you just multipy .16 by 250= 40

  • @blackqueen0420046 thats what i was saying!!!! this is the only video from this guy i didnt find useful

  • @blackqueen0420046 because 16 x 250 is 4000, not 40.

  • why dont you just make the 16/100 into .16 and just multiply?

  • THIS GUY IS A DON FAM

  • @AndyyIzTank HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAJAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

  • @xCG95 LOOL i'm cracking up now

  • thank you so much! :D

  • thx alot

  • to me it wasn't algebra, the only thing that made it algebra is the way he worked it, it was a much better method than than how my class had it so thx!

  • 250 x .16 easiest method :D

  • Compared to my math teacher, this guy is a king.

  • thanks very understandable!

  • just do is over of = % over 100

  • Thank you! You helped me much!

  • wait! elaborate on cross canceling....i forgot :(

  • Why is it I can read a book and NOT get this but when you are explaining this to me I can give the answer while you are solving it and I haven't done this in 30 years...great explaining! Thank you

  • actually the simple/best way to do this problem is to multiply! 250 X .16 = 40.00

    Fuck the long way!

  • @drrealist44 true cause I didn't understand shit lol

  • @drrealist44 so true lmao

  • can i have help coming up with a solving technique for finding an original amount that after having calculated a new amount from a percentage discount... ei --after a 20% discount, the new price $160. what was the original price? --

  • I'm sorry to say that, but one needs to be a complete ignoramus or be 7 years old to find this useful.. I mean, multiplying two numbers is kinda.. obvious, like tying the shoelaces.. of course if you have finished your primary school.

  • or you can just use logic and do .16 X 250 to get 40 and not do all that work

  • @Bryano9320 Doin it that way u wouldn't understang u'd just be getting right to the answer understandig squat

  • this is common sense. if you cant get this ur brain is weak

  • An easier way is 16 divide by 100 = 0.16 x 250 = 40

  • @dayoldrazz thanks

  • @dayoldrazz - alot easier, thanks.

  • An easier way is 16 divided by 100 = 0.16 x 250= 40

  • wow, i never thought of that technique. thank you sir!!

  • LIFE saver

  • you just showed me a good way to simplify what my teacher has been showin us.ppl givin criticism are just dumb as hell..

  • that is a stup qust!

  • good help, like how you explain it!

  • math

  • i don't really get the X thing... U..U"

  • that tutorial is just for a master degree and its not necessary at all and quite complicated especialy in the school age as we all know that we can convert it in decimal way .16 multiply by 250 is equal to 4000 then move the deciaml point twice the u will get the 40.00 so 16% of 250 is 40 thats the simpliest way mate cheers.. longlife...

  • what does he mean it just makes sense?? hes a math teacher. shouldnt he work out the problem instead of just guessing???

  • pause the video until its fully loaded, then move the time bar around. its so cool

  • its way easier to convert 16% to (0.16) and multiply by 250 0.16 x 250= 40

  • wow this guy sucks! cause ya know it just seems to make sense? so that is the answer!

  • is over of equals percent over one hundred. so x over 250 equals 16 over one hundred. works every time.

  • this is not the best way, to find the value, wish i had a camara to show the easy way

  • thanks so much i actually understand it now!

  • i dont really understand what he said. can someone explain to me in a different way? and a faster way to do it?

  • faster way is: 16% of 250

    will be 16/100 x 250

you then cancell the zero's so u wil b left with 16/10 x 25 then u use 5 so five into 10 is 2 and 5 into 25 is 5 u wil be left with 16/2 x 10, 2 will go into 16 8 times so it will be 8 and 5 left, u multiply both and u wil b left with 40 or jus use a calculator: 16/100 x 250 and its will give u an answer of 40, i done this in year 5 and im in year 9 now :) good luck x

  • i love u ..this vid soo saved my life !!!!! i have a exam 2morrow wish me luck ...

  • wat u get on ur math exam?

  • @vampySARAH i completly 4got 2 do this since last year. i have the SSAT's in about a month and this video saved my life :)

  • THANK YOU!!!!! i passed my ASVAB with flying colors ( got a 67)

  • dude can u please tell me what type of math problems they have im studying for it. i took the practice test and scored a 34.

  • thank you!!!!

  • If 250 is 100%

    Than 25 is 10%

    and 2.5= 1%

So If I want the value of 42%, I say:

    25(4) + 2.5(2)

    =100+5

    =105

    Therefore 105 is 42% of 250

This method is a VERY fast method to do in your head.

  • I don't like how this teacher checks answers. Just because something makes sense doesn't make it the right answer. What if one of the choices on a multiple choice exam was close to the actual answer? How do you check then? Both seem to make sense.

  • I could have read that in a book, I didn't get taught anything. Way too fast, didnt say how he got from one point to the other. He just this is this and this is that. Thats why people cant learn math:(

  • all you have to do is 250TImes16=40

  • for fun or if your in a hurry u could simply take the decimal .16 and multiply to 250 which equals 40

  • yeap, i agree. that's what i did huntallen.

  • You guys teach better than my teacher, Thank you very much sir, we appreciate your help. =)

  • i agree with u... in my math class we only have the subject for like 2 or 3 times .. and we dont teach a shit of that. (well, i dont teach a shit of that) ;D

  • ur hot (sike) but i totally got this thnx to u ur awesome

  • What happen to your left hand?

  • there is like a WAAYYYY easier way. Email me to my youtube account for the easier way.

  • this is another easy way to do percents. Thanks

  • yeah this ALWAYS works for me..okay 16% right? ..write 16 over 100..then x over 250..then cross multiply..you should get 16x250 = 4,000, divide 4,000/100 = 40.. which is your answer

  • You are my temporary hero! This vid put it all together.

  • aaawsome! IM totally getting it now, its hard doing algebra in 6th grade!
