  • and the hunt for jovencio804 begins...

  • wth?

  • I think the term is uprighting or maybe self-righting.... ok, i see how you made the mistake now.

  • Prediction for 2012 is that anti gravity safe transport is around the corner

    .... flying cars

  • i have got that EXCACT same gyroscope!

  • witchcraft

  • There is no propulsion. The spinner simply bounces upon the imperfections of the tabletop. When it hits a bump it is elevated, and so on...

  • I have one just like that one

  • whoa! I had no idea there was such a person as stupid and ****ing retarded as madman007ist!

  • Impressive video, thanks for posting.

How do you know the initial angular velocity was 12,000 RPM?

  • can you extend it with a straw?

  • Whasts that noise in the background dude. You are using something to keep it going. Fake and stupid.

  • @madman007ist You are retarded. Maybe that noise is, oh, I don't know, the fricking gyroscope you see right in the middle of the screen.

  • @madman007ist Idiot

  • @madman007ist The noise is the rattling of the gyroscope because of its shifting weight, and believe it or not, the gyroscope is uprighting itself using centripital force and the friction of the ground to lessen the effect of gravity.

  • where actually did you buy this?

  • @ken3247 you can get these at a lot of places, i bought one at a science museum gift shop u can find them online for a few bucks :)

  • It stands up because the outer skeleton spins, which isn't really an effect of a gyroscope, but a plain teetotum's efffect

  • why shops around have all bullshit possible and not things like this? just asking

  • now lets see this piece of shit go against a bey blade

  • @jovencio804 you did not just fucking say that...how old are you?

  • I'm getting one for my friend, I'm going to tell him it's his totem.

Trollololol I hope he doesn't kill himself.

  • coolest idea for a toy...ever

  • can A science improve on Beyblade by using Gyroscope

  • @KiyoCukuma tops are gyroscopes

  • @supermar1050 No, the top is thousands of years old. The gyroscope is only hundreds of years old.

  • @KiyoCukuma a beyblade IS a gyroscope. Just a very inefficient one

  • fascinating. thanks for uploading. science is beautiful.

  • hey any ideas for using that for the science fair as an experiment?

  • @Xdude777 Oh sure, THAT will impress the judges: demonstrating something that was known to the ancient Greeks.

BTW, try to understand the difference between 'experiment' and 'demonstration'.

  • they can stand everywhere without falling... like at the top of a pencil

  • i want one

  • That is beautiful.

  • Sure looks neat.

  • Thanks!

  • well its a gyroscope its uber stable so of course its going to self uprise becouse its stabalizing

  • cool beans

  • I did this when I was nine.

  • @giorgos10000 xDDDDDd
