Before watching DS9, I'd heard it said that Dukat was the most well developed and explored villain in all of Star Trek. After seeing the series, I'd have to agree. Overall, well written, and many superb performances by Alaimo.

Dukat, a truly insain villain

Dukat was a villain of Shakespearian proportions. Especially the fact that his daughter was half-Bajoran half-Cardassian. Brilliant writing helped with this awesome character.

DS9 was great for it's characters that were (at first) just guest stars and became the most important characters in entire series (I mean Garak and Dukat). Great plot, great series!
