I used to use my AIM screenname which came with AIM Mail, but now I've been using Gmail for a year or so. I use Windows Live Mail to check it, but the only time I go on the actual Gmail site is if I'm using a computer at school or an Internet cafe. Anyways, Gmail FTW!

GMAIL has the best search of any email system that I've ever used. If I know anything at all about an email, I can find it even if I have 5000 emails or so. GMAIL has changed my life. Secondly, I love the threading feature of GMAIL. Once you get used to it, it's hard to live without it.

My first email was a hotmail account back before Gmail's existence. I used that for years and it got tons of spam, so I recently decided to switch. I went to Gmail to get a new, personal email and I wanted the address to be very simple: my first name and last name @ gmail. Unfortunately that was taken along with all variations, so I went back to hotmail and now have my first and last name @ live. I only use it for personal use so companies don't send spam and I'm fine with it.

I use Gmail because I use Chrome, which I'm really enjoying by the way and I haven't use Firefox since I installed it (Although I still have Firefox installed). I also use iGoogle which I like because it allows me to customize my "home page" so to speak. I've also always used Google for searching the web. I've tried other search engines but always come back to Google. It all just fits nicely for me. :]

Oh, I also use Google reader for all my RSS needs, so that fits nicely too.

Which reminds me, it'd be really great if chrome were to have an RSS button but into the address bar like Firefox or Opera. If there is a way to have that in chrome that I'm just not aware of, feel free to enlighten me anyone.

I use hotmail. I don't really get much spam, 2 or 3 a day and all addresses that I do not know automatically go to the spam folder, but I check the spam folder often to make sure no one I might know e-mails me, add them to the safe list and that works pretty well. I also tell firefox to drop any cookies and make sure any tracker cookies are dropped at least once a day. Only thing I don't like is that I cant seem to find if I allows you to forward mail to desktop mail clients. Minor prob though.

I love Gmail because it is simple, the interface is clean, it actually offers IMAP, less advertisements, and much better service. It is quick and efficient, and boy, comparing Ymail to Gmail, someone gets shot down, and it is Ymail. Note this is my opinion and if you love Ymail, it is also good.
