So what, buddy waited 10 years to never get his animated film done. I've made like 4 movies in that time, 5 if you count the one I'm working on right now. (':o orly?! ys rly, check out my channel..)

Money? $500, max. For hardware. Off lease computer stores sell used computers cheap. Software is free (blender), or if you're like me you find copies of software (3d max, after effects) that someone accidentally left on the city bus.

Independent/Indie filmmaking/music has become just another label to give the illusion that they have something original and new, when in fact they are the same sellouts that sit in the corporate seats (just with no money). Thanks to Mdot I found the programs I needed and can do my own thing (music, movies, shows, animation, anything). This video is pretty amusing and true. :) I did go to a Dov SS Simmons 2-day film course thing once, it was pretty good + educational but I didn't go on to make a hollywood movie or send the same dumb idea to studios for 10 years or grow a beard.
