that's a bit of a stretch. that was definitely the case at the time of the upset but if you'd do some research you'd see that it happened to two teams in 2007, one team in 2008, and three teams in 2009. in 2009, i would argue that bemidji state's upset of notre dame was just as bad. at the time, this sort of upset was unheard of, but not anymore. hockey is getting better all over the country and with a one-and-done format, crazy things are bound to happen. still sucked a lot though, ha!

It wasn't hatred (in that particular situation), it was just one of the biggest upsets in college hockey history. Of course prep schools would be better. MN uses the classic HS system. They don't organize near professional all-star teams like MA. Most for their home town. So if we take prep schools into consideration, which are not really the same as true HS sports, use MN's Shattuck St. Mary's (also the school Sydney Crosby attended among other stars), who doesn't compete in MN HS sports. They'd murder any team in MN, MA, or the entire country.
