No one's probably gonna read this, but I’ll say it anyway cuz I feel at least 1 person will. I'm a young designer and graffiti artist, I know there's a million out there but I feel like my art has a unique individual style.
If you just take a min and give me a chance I'll make you a believer. I would love nothing more than to have a loyal following on youtube. If anyone who reads this could press the "THUMBS UP" others will see it. Just a simple button push will make a huge difference.
iN MY POINT OF VIEW, ZOO TV WAS THE BEST U2 TOUR, I SAW THEM MANY TIMES, BUT NEVER LIKE THIS TOUR. SOMEHOW,I THINK THAT THE REAL U2 DIES AFTER ACHTUNG BABY ALBUM
fuck, all you gay mother fuckers! U2 became a bigger and better rock band. Continuing, reaching ticket sales with their Popmart, Elevation, vertigo and current 360 tour. If that doesn't tell all you blind fuckers anything!
@hanstonk TAKE IT EASY, CALM DOWN, DONT TAKE IT TO PERSONAL, WHAT WE SAY THE OLD VERSION OF U2 WAS BETTER THAN NEW VERSION. IN MY OPINION U2 WAS A GREAT ROCK BAND , BUT RIGHT NOW THEY DONT PLAY ROCK, PLAYS POP ROCK
The best years for U2 and this tour was out of this world. Bono's voice were never this great after Joshua Tree and Zoo TV. They are still great and the best live band but this tour will never be beaten not by themselves or any band.
@CZMephisto1973 U2 was amazing back then BUT they're still amazing now. Seeing "Even Better" on the 360 tour was incredible there was so much energy in the song now than there was back then. U2 is the biggest band on the planet and they're also the best.
This was my first ever U2 concert. What a night it was. Kraftwerk, Public Enemy and U2 in the one night. BAD II not much to write home about though. Still, one of the best gigs I've ever witnessed. Proud to say 'I was there'.
Agree with Dotsy02, this clip is far from rare. It's taken from the Stop Sellafield video which you can buy on ebay for about a tenner,,,,,,
To the previous post below Wrighttherewrightnow, NLOTH is a kinda slow burner, believe it or not I've listened to some of the tracks again lately having heard some of them for the 1st time done live and some of them done LIVE were better than the recorded stuff.
Pity more of this gig 'aint available online. But see my post re: a gr8 Sweden gig.
damn they're going to be in pasadena this october and i freaking didnt find out about it till it was sold out. they're going to be in the hood. i could literally walk to the rose bowl and i freaking missed out >:^(
At Dublin they released about a thousand tickets at the last minute so you might still have a chance man if you hold out - don't buy from a tout they'll just rip you off
I really hope you got tickets, but if you didn't, I just want you to know that you're not the only one! I missed out on the Dublin gigs, completely unaware that my cousin was going! In short, it sucks. One day though.
hello friends, someone who knows this pedal uses EDGE in the beginning of her song, "is like a wah pedal, if someone knows the effect of using this great guitarist, thanks for your cooperation to my question, thank you very much
"The Intro utilises a Pitch Bending effect the Digitech Whammy Pedal to create an octave sweep. The Whammy Pedal has been featured on a few U2 tracks since notable Gone from the Pop album."
wrightherewrightnow: I agree with you. This was Bono and the lads at awesome power. Great stuff! I came across a bottleg of this gig some years ago recorded from a walkman! It's mighty stuff, listening to it you can really hear that concert and as they got better as it went on. If you type in "U2 Stockholm", a 1992 concert has lotza the same material done at this G-Mex gig. "No line", are they ever going to be as good? I dont think so.
Personally, I love No Line. When Uncut magazine reviewed it, they said it was their least immediate album, which is true. It's a grower and takes several listens to really get into, but I think it's worth it. I'm only 18, but they're my favoirite band and I feel that they still stand head and shoulders above any of the absolute CRAP pedalled in the charts. Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree are the seminal records of course, but NLOTH is really great. I'd be interested to know if you liked it!
This was a truly great era for U2. Bono said, "Most rock bands are burnt out by their 30s...I like to think we're burning up". This is certainly true, as the whole Actung Baby/ Zoo TV era bore witness to the kind epic and memorable genius that can burst forth when rock stars begin to play and really have fun with the whole idea behind their craft. I only hope that No Line..will be as good!
if they were the same they would become boring after a while even though this was a genius time for them. I am liking the new direction they are taken with Get on your boots and No Line on The Horizon
U2 have a big issue with Sellafield in Cumbria. Larry and Bono's Dublin homes overlook the sea and many people in Ireland say pollution from Sellafield floats from Cumbria to Dublin. I'm surprised Bono said this during this part of the show (the irony bit, with him dressed as The Fly). The serious bits on this tour normally came later in the evening when Bono was not 'in character'. The day after this Manchester gig they visited Sellafield (see Bill Flanagan's book 'U2 At The End Of The World').
This is going to sound smarmie stuffy and arrogant but i think i new before them how amazing things would turn out. i guess i'm just gifted . 4 little leprechans count them four no really ize just being silly. but honestly i did always believe... Tonight i think what i'm saying is great bht tomorrow i'm gonna feel like a idiot

I came across a BOOTLEG of this gig once, mighty stuff this!!! Even recorded on a walkman (an indoor gig) it came across brill!
For much of this Achtung Baby material done live, type in "U2 Stockholm 1992" and much of this material is there done brilliantly...
This is Paul H and the lads at the height of their Achtung Baby material, see the Stockholm gigs.
Wasnt "mad" about NLOTH but diya know, 'tis growing on me - still..... "Unknown Caller" one great track.
