@LeaaLeaax2 With pony beads, you may have to loop the string around them to make sure they are secure. What don't you understand about the hooks? They are from 3M.
@LeaaLeaax2 I used double-sided tape from 3M (scotch tape brand) - that came with the hooks. I made loops at the end of each string to hook onto the hooks.
I started to make a beaded...valance, I guess, a few years ago and then put it away, I could probably incorporate it into a bead curtain for my patio doors. Glad I found your video, made me remember how easy/fun/creative it can be; glad to have your ideas too. I will have to hunt for that stretchy string though, I used invisible thread, like weak fishing line. My cats would make short work of that. finally a creative task to get busy with, no more dithering!
@cheeseclark Oh, a beaded valence over the headboard of a bed would be really nice. My friends in college really liked walking through my curtains and playing with them because of the stretchy string. I bet your curtain will look really nice on the patio with the sunshine passing through it.
Wow, you are very creative! My daughter and I are about to start a beaded curtain, I'm glad I checked out your video first. We are totally going to "steal" your super cool ideas- Lol, thanks for posting!
Great ideas for beaded curtains! I would love to see an updated video that shows the process of the knot tying - especially on the end bead, if only on a small sample piece of string. Also, it was hard to tell, are you hanging each strand separately? How would you attach them to a rod? I'm wanting to make a curtain that is 54" across, for my picture window.
@Xoletta You know what? I've never thought of that. I did hang mine up separately on individual hooks. I wasn't actually that skilled at knot-tying.. I had to tape some of them. But I supposed you could tie them all to a rod and maybe staple them in?
I loved the video. Using bangles is so awesome, I have easily 30 in diffrent colors. Great job, will be making them to use as a room divider in my new apartment. Your awesome!!
nice eye shadow :D
