Samoyeds are difficult to care for. They shed a ton, they require a lot of attention or they become destructive, they are quite intelligent and they get into a lot of mischief.

I did dog rescue for this breed for 10 years. I hope they never become too popular, because even though the breed was rare, our rescue group was always over-flowing with abandoned animals.

I had a husky once and my dad said she saw a snake in our back yard. She grabbed the snake, bit down on it until it was dead, then shook it back and forth, spat it out and went in the house like nothing happened! My dad rushed her and the snake body to the vet to make sure she didn't catch anything from the snake. It was a very LOONG snake too.
