Deduction REALLY works. Just once I thought I'd have a go.

This kid I knew had something white on his tie. I looked in his pencil case and the only white thing that was there was tipex. I thought of several ways it could have got on his tie. He must have been in a rush, as he brushed it quickly. Why was he hiding it? Was he sniffing it?

So I asked, "Do you sniff Tipex?"

Does anyone else ever stand in the middle of a room, look around at everything and ask yourself "What can I observe here that tells me something?", or is it just me? I find it's a fun exercise to try. Small things really do give away more information than you might think.

@SamildanachEmrys I was good at that after initially reading the stories back in elementary (no pun) and high school. But, like anything, it takes practice and I got out of practice. I am more mindful of observations and deductions again after watching the series and starting to re-read the books.

The music is genius! it really helps the show a lot, I mean even without the music it would be amazing but the music just has a humorous sound to it and it just compliments the best in John's the sarcasm and amplifies the 'Oh god why are you so stupid, why don't you see it, I'm way ahead of you, I'm out' of Sherlock..
