i've moved back to scotland but i remember the whale being washed up at hillary's,i also saw one that had been washed up near two rocks some months earlier,it was full of shark bites.
never saw the whale. was having coffee the day after it was removed and you could see all the oil under the jetty. walked over to where it was but left pretty quick because of the smell.
i remember seeing this when i was 12 and a half i was shocked

I HATEEEEEE it that the Japanese are going out into the ocean and KILLING THESE ANIMALS. I HATE IT I HATE IT I HATE IT. Makes me want to cry

I would NEVERR do that to any animal.

u do realise, japenese didn't kill this whale, this is in australia near were i live. and japese don't really kill whales anywhere near as much now

Indeed the stench was quite bad downwind but where we shot the footage was upwind, luckily!

Yes, it's sad that this whale died but it's even sadder that the Japanese are actively hunting and killing these majestic animals.
