One of my sources gave an incorrect date. Sorry, the Reds were the worst of the two. Unfortunately, the Spanish Republic is a "mascot cause" of the modern left. Francisco Franco is a hero for having saved Spain from the Red terror. If he had not won the Civil War, an even more barbaric bloodbath at the hands of the Reds (in imitation of their Soviet masters) would have occurred.
