a couple of years ago jonathan and katusha used to be my sisters teachers. I dont remember them that much but i had a lot of fun with jonathan and katusha was really nice. Its so sad that they stopped dancing together

Jonathan is better, there's more music in him. Not that Arunas is bad, but ...

and his footwork may be great but his "facework" is simply silly.

Since facework is obviously the most important thing about dance.

It's not just feet that dance, it's the whole person. And just like you can flush great footwork down the toilet with terrible posture or dead or misshaped arms, you can ruin the presentation with the face expressions. Of course the face is not the most important thing about dance, but it's still something to be controled. Especially at this level.

I hate to agree but maybe I do a little.  I'd still give anything to dance like they do. And remember this is them new together and they still deserve everything they get(like second in the world to Mirko).

well it is because of the coreography...not every coreography is good looking sometimes they make some movements that it's hart for the eyes to see dude!:)

I have to say, I love the movement, but it does not have as much tango flavor as I would like. But, if I could dance 1/10 as well I would be in heaven.

Just amazing. Arunas and Katusha are incredible. Unfortunately, I wonder how long it will take for an AT dancer to say this isn't real Tango.

You are absolutely correct, and they are putting their own stamp on ballroom dancing. This is a tango, but not a classical style.
