If you cut are recording a live video where there is salutes to the crowd, then you're more than likely going to get a "nazi salute" if you cut a frame in the middle of the wave, but for people to bring that up is no different than a child waving it's arms for attention. Sorry I don't know the exactly deep meanings behind the lyrics. I think 'Station To Station' is the transition from Bowie's 'Young Americans' to 'Berlin Trilogy'(Low, "Heroes", Lodger). His voice is best between the two eras above. While he performed in his alter ego of Thin White Duke, some people think Bowie is Narcissism at this period cos he's so cool & beautiful as well.
