I've seen a couple of those, and that is by far the best looking Jalpa I have ever seen. I like the roof removed, and I love the grille painted white. Those things sound mean too!

Am I the only one who thinks the jalpa looks exactly like the silhouette, besides the wheels and interior? Like take the wheels from a countach and the interior from the urraco (from which the silhouette was based on) and you've got a silhouette.

How much is it to get an engine for this. My moms client is trying to get me to buy his but it has no engine. Its black on tan leather, just like the one in Rocky 4. His price is $10k. I was thinking of maybe getting it and putting it on ebay the way it is. Maybe somebody will want it?

I own the car and I agree with you. I recently removed it and filled the holes on the deck lid. The wing is a rare Gemballa wing and only 5 jalpa were sold new with it. It is dealer period correct installed wing.

Obviously CharlzR, you have no idea about my racing experience. I am the grandma you are refering about and the helmet is there because I was racing my Hayabusa that day (suzuki on the helmet) before deciding to take a few of my toys on the track: Viper with 700HP, Maserati Gt, Lotus Esprit, Ferrari 400 and a factory Suzuki Rally Car. Hence I own Suzuki Dealerships. Look up Tom Georgalis on youtube and if your grandma can drive like that I would like to ask her out on a date.
