  • i have a 5" blacro...I want the deeper model too!

  • 6.5 x14 acrolites aren't all that common.

  • wow!!! muy buena tarola !!!

  • i have the same snare.

how do you like to tune it?

  • Does your "blacrolite" have an indentation where the bottom of the snare throw off attaches to the drum?

  • Yes, actually you appear to be a pretty good drummer, I just don't understand why you have to (as well as a million other people) take a video of a drum for all to see... especially a drum that is as common as an acrolite. Cool sloshy hats on the other video by the way.

  • Thanks! I post mostly so I can display certain things on drum forums as part of a discussion on one subject or another, so primarily for that and not necessarily the general public. Believe it or not the 6.5" blacro while easy to get via the web, is pretty hard to find in the average store, and generally on the web you just get the generic catalog shot. I have a few other more expensive snares but this one sees the stage probably 10-12 times a month, while the others stay home.

  • Not everybody has a 6.5 though.

  • It's like showing off your 92 honda civic. It's not a collector's item- it's meant to be played. Thanks for wasting my time doosh.

  • Did you check out my other videos where I am playing it?

  • wanna play it? :D

  • I play it in a bunch of the other vids, I just made this to show it off. ;)

  • damn I wish I could find one that's 6.5"x14"

  • they can be found on online stores nowadays. I have a 14 x 5.5. And until now, i had no idea 6.5 versions of this amazing snare existed.
