Exaurious here from Ramuh server. OMG im doing this today finally after so much hard work, this will be my first time fighting maat, i have capped my enfeebling and elemental magic, and im fully stacked on Int gear. hoping to beat him on my first try. im going to try this technique and hope for the best. Nice job man. I myself am 1/1 on RDM Maat, I used a bit different strategy, but it worked well. It was very fortunate that you were able to recover from the resist you had near the start. 9/10!

When u fight maat i took my armour off becouse he has same stats as you then put armour back on wen u start fighting im

I did my RDM Maat fight about 4 months ago. beat him easily. ; ; I keep feeling bad for the people that have to do it like 7+ times and spend outragous amounts of gil on this fight. Wish my fight had been this smooth though.

Best part was getting hit back to back with 3 asuran fists when Sleep and bind refused to stick. And even Gravity missed. Oh yeah you know you're lucky when Maat misses 80% of Asuran fists 3 times in a row.

I must say good RDM video, love the FFIV Zeromus music while facing maat, i just beat him as SMN on sylph, was so easy. Where did you get that music from its cool.

RDM I think by far has the toughest Maat fight. DDs have it easy, my BLM and SAM buddies beat him in like 20 seconds. I had to do it with PLD...which was annoyingly long, but not nearly as hard as this looks, having to stick all those binds and sleeps. Quite impressive. And what's that song? I think it's pretty sweet.
