  • Sorry, 31 colleges. Typo.

  • Cambridge University is made up of 32 colleges. One has to belong to a college to belong to the university. Some are grander, older and richer than others. I worked so hard to get in and am about to start in October. Very, very competitive. The city is lovely but the city centre streets are narrow and crowded but so are some other cities. Remember, in order to get in, you must apply. So many people think it's beyound them but with hard work it is possible.

  • congrats.

  • haha, there's 31 colleges.

  • gee-ah palo!

  • jealous?

  • have u been there any week days? then disagree with my commets. Everything looks rosy from a distance.

  • Except its not from a distance, given that I worked bloody hard to get a place to study there, starting in October - as for going on a weekday - yes several times...as for 'it was a good university' bar in mind it is one of the best in the world perhaps you should ask - would your daughter get in?

  • OK good luck son/daughter - hope u r telling me the truth - I just been there two weeks ago. BTW my daughter is 3 yrs old.

I like your arrogance - you won't be a misfit there - with all those pompous twits around you.

If only we'd remember the word 'hubris'!!!

  • It's a beautiful city, and actually busier on the weekend when the full-time residents (as in not the students) are about. It's also difficult for cars to travel in the centre, seeing as it's mostly pedestrianised. Quite frankly I don't think you know what you're talking about, and as for 'sending' your daughter there - it's not a school, you don't 'send' children there. They have to fight hard for a place, and with your genes, well, I'm not sure they're manage it.

  • @janemansfield1989 "I'm not sure they're manage it" either.

  • No what you need to do is actually put your eyeballs in and actually VISIT the city instead of making piss remarks on YOUTUBE.

  • Hey u now which of the colleges are better for literature?? I'm planing on studying there but have no clue which to go to T.T

  • Hey there, ookaminoonida - the supervisions and lectures are organized in different buildings for specific subjects - not related to the colleges. The colleges are just the places for living, studying, entertainment, etc. So the standard for the literature teaching is the same, regardless of the college. The tutors are the same as well, coming from different colleges to teach everyone.

  • Ooooooooo............Nice college!

  • It's not a College, it's a University. ;-]

  • Well, I thought THIS particular video was of the college u mentioned about. :-)

  • Umm, huh?

Haha, don't worry about it. ;-]

  • It's a college within a university, so you're both right :P

  • Yeh, pretty much.

    Yay, "Kristada673" and I win!

    thanks.. ;-]
