  • My daughter just asked my earlier when was i going to do her blanet...I told her when I have time. They are so fun to make....Like your blanket

  • @scrapin2010 Thank you! I love making them too! I make each one differently it seems, depending on who I make them for. This one was for the grandson of an old high school friend. Appreciate you stopping by!

  • hey, that is real nice!!! i could even do that- i think.

    michael

  • @GlimpseAfterGlimpse Hey Hey Michael !!! I believe you can make it! My two year old granddaughter helped make hers! I hope you are well!!!

  • Way cool Martha. I was thinking how in the world?? and There you did it! Very nice! Hugs!

  • @imperceptibleme Thanks Melissa! I'm glad ya liked it! I loved your jewelry, checked out your page. I need to get me an order in some time soon! Hugs to ya!

  • I love it when people are crafty!

  • @familymatters1234 Thank you very much! When my sewing room is done I might make more videos. I'm always making something. lol

  • That came out really nice.

  • @dreamer72fem Thanks Stacey!!

  • I couldn't figure out how you were going to make this a no-sew blanket and then WOW! look at that! Very cool. I think I may have just found an easy home-made Christmas present for someone.

  • @yoyomax12 Tammy, you are very creative and I know you will put your spin on your blanket. I first started making them for people in wheelchairs, a tad smaller but it kept them warm and they are easier to care for. I made them bigger for toddler beds too. Also I love that a child could make this with a little help !

  • This is very cool.I like the moose pattern, now i need to learn how to do this.

  • @paddycake5201 hehehe It's really simple, honest! My friend wanted it for her grandson! I actually tie mine into knots (I've seen some that are a loose knot and they come undone in the wash). I didn't want that I tie a simple knot (works for me). I'm gonna make one for hubby (he loves Wolves) so that's what he's getting!

  • Love the music you used for this video. I'm curious as to how this would come out of the machine after washing and drying. Are there any special cleaning instructions?

  • @DebUSA Deb, I wash the fleece first and after I make them. I was worried about them too after a wash. I thought if I might have to use quilting spray adhesive then knot the fleece but so far after 5 blankets they've handled the wash pretty good. I do dry them on low -- don't take long for them to dry.

  • @DebUSA I love the music too -- and thank you for asking about the cleaning instructions. I added those to my description. I use delicate or gentle cycle (cold water) and dry on low or fluff cycle. I realized that's how I watch my electric blankets too and just automatically washed my fleece blankets the same way.

  • great job, I love those~

  • @KarlaKayM Thanks Karla! They have turned into great therapy for my hands and I don't have to pay a physical therapist for it! lol

  • Wow Martha! That blanket is great!! and no sewing! cool!!

    :-)

  • @twish1999 Thanks Trish! I love to sew but if I can get by without it, I will! LOL

A friend of mine wanted this one for her grandson. These work great for those of us sitting at our computer playing games when it's a bit cold in the house. lol

  • @DogWalkingTall Rob, I'm glad ya liked it! I've been away from here, I see I have some catching up to do! I've been busy making blankets for friends. lol

  • That is so cool!! I like making things that go really fast!

  • @mysteryglo Judy, I'm glad ya liked it. Yeah I like fast and simple things too! I don't have a ton of time. I've been busy making these for a few weeks (my granddaughter helped me and her mommy make hers).

  • This is awesome Martha! Thanks for sharing. hugs, Chris

  • @bugsinrug Thanks for stopping by Chris. You told us to get back over here! LOL Hugs!!!

  • Yay Martha...I have wanted to make one of these for quite some time now, and you just gave me the PUSH I needed. Thanks for the instructions;-)

    **smiles**

  • @blueclouds4me Ooooh Mary Lou -- I have been busy making these for a few weeks for some friends and as gifts. lol You can look on the web too for "no sew fleece blankets" and get other instructions too. I tie my knots differently than some folks do, I want them to stay! lol My blankets are all different sizes, I modify them to the person (like for someone in a wheelchair) or a toddler bed. Enjoy making your blanket! *smiles and hugs*
