  • How frequently is this needed?

  • @rorybz

I do it twice a year.

  • It looks like if you dont comb him evenly all over the body, the fur looks weird overall eg the fur doesnt look nice anymore...notice the top has thick fur, the back is a little messy but the sides have less fur...

  • @InvincibleGold

Don't care what you say. He's beautiful to me.

  • where cowboy boots next time lol

  • @crsdog420

    Yeehaw?

  • @SeberHusky lol its a nasty joke i heard..... u put their back legs in your cowboy boots so they cant get away. lmfao

  • Now make a coat/gloves/hat/scarf with all of that xD

  • I feel your pain..I have 2 huskies.....

  • Looks like it feels good. :)

  • Why would it be cruel? I mean Im just asking do they have really sensitive skin or? sunburn? I didnt really mean sheer him like a sheep but a trip to the groomer to cut it down to a couple inches would be bad?

  • @hillbillyhoodoo Its cruel cause the out coat is designed to keep them cool, if you shave that off they can sunburn and even suffer from heat stroke.

  • @chris34202 You need to relax, idk if you deal with a shedding dog but when they are inside dogs the sun doesn't hit them.

  • @MoneyKid5310 I do deal with a shedding dog, I have a siberian husky myself. And heat stroke has nothing to do with being outside, a Husky's outer coat is designed to keep them cool in warmer temps. Not sure why you are telling me to relax as i was responding to a question asked by someone else. And I dont know about you but a husky is a working dog and if you have a husky that is an inside dog only that alone is cruel.

  • @chris34202

I'm getting really sick of you overzealous idiots saying everything is animal abuse. Just because they were originally bred as sled dogs, does not mean that is what they must be used for. derp.

  • @SeberHusky Woah Man, I was agreeing with you on the shaving thing. I dont use my husky as a sled dog, nor do i live in a climate where it would be possible. I was just responding to moneykid saying he had an indoor only husky which is cruel for a working class dog to never go outside. My husky has never seen snow or pulled a sled.

  • @chris34202

    mmm'kay

  • @chris34202 I never have ever said i have an indoor only husky, I don't have a husky but I do own a shedding dog and he is an indoor dog and if i don't use a brush like this my allergies will kill me and I would be cleaning 24/7

  • @MoneyKid5310

Since you are a "money kid". I would recommend buying the Furminator 2.0. It's the same as this brush, only it has been redesigned as a vacuum attachment to stick onto your vacuum cleaner hose. It really helps if for some reason he can't be brushed outside (i.e snow). It sucks all the loose fur up, so it doesn't fly everywhere like it does in this video. It cost me $30 but it might be cheaper, or more available online.

  • @SeberHusky They make furminator knock offs for much cheaper and my dog hates vacuums lol

  • @MoneyKid5310 You responded to a comment about a husky, on a video showing a husky so one would assume that you have a husky. My comments about shaving are for huskies, other dogs can be shaved as their skin is different. I dont have an issue with this tool as i own it also and it is great at removing the undercoat while the dog is shedding. Shaving a husky (like a sheep) as mentioned earlier can be detrimental to their health as i mentioned they can suffer from severe sunburn or heat stroke.

  • Daaaaaaang I dont know what I just woulnt shave the ole boy twice a year when this happens. LOL

  • @hillbillyhoodoo

Shaving a Husky like a sheep is cruel (unless they have a medical emergency, that is.)

  • Kiba's sooo floofy.

  • I would make a pillow or a sweater with all the fur. XD

  • I got a husky too, he sheds ALOT , I think I need to buy him one of those Furminator things

  • @ThatGuyGus

I paid $9 a piece for both brushes on eBay.

  • i want doggy fur pillows i think kiba can spare some fur

  • Kiba pillows, coming Q3 2011.

  • All that fl00f :3
