I say SR2 is better than GTA as I have had alot of pure fun whilst playing SR2. Yes the graphics arn't as good but the gameplay mechanics are alot better, and cars are easy to drive. GTA IV was good at first but it gets dull around mid way. It's too serious. The thing I thought was the most annoying was people calling me up to say lets go out or something whilst I'm on the other side of the map blowing things up. GTA IV is good but SR2 is just alot more fun! My opinion anyway.

I will say that i prefered the first saints row because i liked the fact that they wer cleanin up the row and that you wer the enforcer i dont like being the leader.

The saboteur is better than gta 4 and it is totally underrated.

@tibiaowned1 The old GTA games are amazing, San Andreas is probably one of the best games of all time. GTA IV on the other hand was boring, it couldn't decide whether it wanted to be silly or gritty and having to take your cousin bowling when I wanted to explore and have fun was just plain stupid. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but Saints Row 2 is much more fun in my opinion.

@tibiaowned1 Well you can continue this. GTA was inspired by Body Harvest (1985) who was a open world sandbox game. Hunter 1991 was a 3D open world game with shooting so you cant say that GTA was THE first one. GTA made open world gaming a hype but it was not the first one

Bassically, Saints Row 2 has a MUCH better atmosphere then GTA IV, becuse of the simple fact GTA IV is DULL, one of the most depressing dull games ever, the weather is always bad and even when it is sunny it does not look like natural light, also GTA IV takes things to far with the realism, i mean seriously smashing through car windscreens and shit, WTF?! One more thing, the missions in Saints row 2 are much more fun, so yeah, fuck the new GTA's!

How is it dull, Do you realize that Liberty City is based on New York, In New york the weather is not perfect either, in fact Gta 4 did not even have snow. Go in a helicopter at night, and look at the middle city, it looks exactly like new york. Most of the time in GTA 4 it has clear weather, im sorry that saints row 2 does not want the player to feel realism. saints row =FAIL GTA
