i get you totally .i love to make art and have my way ...i usually light a candle .have my music on, then go into my own zone and enjoy .....nice one subscribed ..love your work
consider this constructive criticism, and not a negative one - i would like to see more, but from a better vantage point. i'm sure that would not defeat your purpose. by keeping it further away you are almost demanding we grapple with our own boredom due to lack of action
while i enjoyed the video, i would have very very much preferred if you had gotten a little closer. just simply frame it much closer so i can actually see what YOU see. see, your head is much closer to that canvas then mine - i want to see the brush strokes
I asure it is defonately NOT paint by numbers. Every one has preferences thats what makes this world such a wonderous place. Enjoy her dude, she is entertaining.
ok, if that' what you want, who am i to say you shouldn't do it. from my own point of view raw, unedited video is potentially, if it is live. if not, then there's a content selection process involved and the choice made should be our best efforts to choose well. i prefer to respect video as an art form itself and to attempt to do good work in that form as well as doing good work in my painting.
well, i thought you wanted me to see it. i understand now that you don't expect me to be entertained. you said that you wanted the audience to understand painting is not glamorous, if any one did, i guess it has provided the service of removing the glamor. i don't know, what else is there?
thnx for sending me notice of this video. good to see something of your work and technique. i think that if artists are going to make videos, they should but some time into making good vides. we need to have better and more varied camera angles here, more helpful editing, some narration and a cleaner, soundtrack. the camcorder picking up the recordings you're playing in the studio, does not make it. the audience deserves an original soundtrack created for the video, recorded inline.
This is a raw, real moment in my studio. I'm not tring to entertain anyone just shooting a realistic moment from my studio. I just wanted to show that art isn't flashy or some kind of production. It's my style to make my videos one shot one angle like your there with me. I paint for a living and wanted to show people the reality is it's not that exciting to watch real painting.
Fusion: the art, the music, I dig the vibe thanks for posting!

but close up the changing of the painting's landscape becomes much more dynamic. and much more interesting - which is how you see it.
