  • I used to go see these guys every chance I could while living in New Bern, NC 77-79. The venue was usually DIamond Jim's. Does anyone know whatever happened to their lead guitarist at that time, Mark Downing ?

I've been to so many concerts from national acts that i can't remember them all....but I still remember EVERY time I saw nantucket....I live in ohio now and I can only wish that my friends and family up here could experience what i did many times in the late 70's and early 80's...glad to see these guys are still rockin.....oh yeah, anybody remember tommy redd's FUCK IRAN button? I bet he still has that in hidden away in a drawer somewhere...

  • @dmurphy513 ~~ I remember that button!!!! What rebels they were! Saw them in NC many times...

  • Can't quite hit the high notes anymore huh Larry!

  • @Gslinger3

    ROLFLMAO!!

  • Who is the drummer in this clip?

  • I live in Raleigh and saw them when they were Stax of Gold all the way through making it big, then back to doing reunion stuff at the Longbranch. They were much much better in the old days. Great songs but the Uzzell brothers are a couple of the most arrogant people I've ever met. Tommy one of the nicest.

Just my opinion; your mileage may vary.

  • @benellidown
