Can someone explian please what is dungeon rpg i thought it was like final fantasy but has lots of dungeons and forests and alot of battles then this is like a interactive exploring art style puzzle game.
@olimario You realize that it's stretched right? The native game resolution is 400(800 in 3D mode, both eyes)x240 but the literal size of the screen translates to 300x180 so it looks sharp on the actual console and really good, this is the same with any game screenshots and trailers.

don't get me wrong the game still looks great but...while the trailer is great i still don't know what the hell is this game about hell i think i have less of a clue now >.> great i'am still following this game and most likely getting it just to know what the hell is it about and how it plays
@5thism The visuals are optimized for the 3DS, if they port it to the vita it wouldn't look any nicer. In fact, it would be a downgrade since i saw the 3D in this game and it's spectacular.

XD I don't care about super good graphics, I loved Zelda Majora's Mask and want it on the 3DS, it's true that Sony's graphics of the same generation consoles are normally better, but this time around Sony is creating their PS Vita as a controller for their system, since adding more power isn't too much of a benefit for them this time around. I was in no way implying...

The Wii U will be more powerful and have better graphics than the PS3, though the PS Vita will have better graphics than the 3DS, though not in 3D of course. I'm personally not interested in this at all, as much as I wanna support third-party developers for the 3DS I'm just not interested in this at all.
I refunded my 3DS though, luckily. I'm waiting two or three years to rebuy a 3DS, the current model is an incomplete mess. Nintendo rushed their system, failed.

About 2-3 months ago, the status of the game was 60% complete, so it should be finished early next year. So,i would expect an Q1,or Q2 release for the game. Also, why did you buy a 3DS? @jimmyelgringito I bought the 3DS at $250 thinking that the 3D effect would blow me away, it gives me headaches immediately after I turn it on, even at the lowest possible settings. The single slide pad won't work well just like the single analog nub of the PSP, the lack of symmetry between the screens takes away the possibility for dual-screen gaming on the system, the top screen should be a touch screen and they shouldn't be resistive, they should be capacitive. Those are valid reasons.
@jimmyelgringito I wasn't very clear, when I said dual-screen gaming I mean like for bosses that are so big they take up both screens. Not only that but 2D gaming is kinda discouraged with the system while tons of 2D games are going to be available at the Vita's launch. I've never been a Sony fan(always Nintendo previously) but I'll definitely prefer the Vita to the 3DS.
@FFFan3445 2D games aren't discouraged, the 3DS already has about 2-3 2D games planed. Also, i would understand you preferring the vita over the 3DS if they where the same price, but the 3DS is $80 cheaper and it's getting a bunch of games during the holiday.

The 3DS is getting A FEW 3DS titles that I can happily live without by the holidays, the Vita's launch games alone beat the 3DS' library by then to a pulp and the launch window is even better. I'm willing to pay $80 more for vastly superior hardware, I'd prefer a srs game device with innovative features to a kids' toy.

@FFFan3445 Mario 3D land looks pretty awesome, Resident evil looks awesome as well. Tales of the abyss and MGS3 might be remakes, but they are remakes of great games i haven't played yet. Sonic generations will only come out on the 360, ps3, and 3DS according to SEGA and ninja gaiden was confirmed by team ninja to show up on the 3DS.
@jimmyelgringito Mario 3D Land looks unoriginal as fuck, RE:R looks pretty bad as well. $40 remakes that add no new content are horrible deals. A Batman game was also confirmed to hit the 3DS at some point, but they haven't made a single statement since. The Ninja Gaiden team has been talking about how they're considering a Ninja Gaiden game on the Vita right after NG3, but they've said nothing about the 3DS game yet; that's how it works, the 3DS bombed early and isn't as attractive now to devs.
@jimmyelgringito Super Smash Bros will probably hit in 2013, Ace Combat is a shitty series, Time Travelers looks like a retarded Japanese soap opera in game form, the Luigi's Mansion series has bland, repetitive gameplay, why play Heroes of Ruin when I've got Ruin(dohoho), Rodea's on Wii and probably better there, Lautrec looks disappointing so far(and I was initially interested), Street Fighter X Tekken > Tekken 3D, Shinobi looks like shovelware, Beyond the Labyrinth looks shitty so far
@jimmyelgringito Spider-Man: Edge of Time is hitting every system ever and I bet it'll be worst on 3DS, the 999 game is hitting the Vita as well, I doubt Paper Mario will be anywhere near as good as the Mario & Luigi RPG games, the only Persona games hitting the 3DS are overpriced remakes, Kid Icarus Uprising's controls are disgustingly bad(they prove that only having one analog stick is fail), it's been pretty much confirmed that Monster Hunter's hitting the Vita.

Each individual pixel on an OLED screen lights itself, it doesn't require a blacklight. It's energy efficient and I'm sure it'll be the standard for TVs and monitors in a decade. You obviously don't know a thing, fanboy.

@FFFan3445 OLed is more vibrant in color and can be viewed better in light, granted. But 3D has it advantages too. The two are very different technologies, once 3D is used effectively its easy to obtain the same "wow" factor with image quality/detail/space. 3D does cause eye tiredness in people who aren't used to it<- key word here. More use = more tolerance = longer tome played without breaks. I can go maybe 2-3 hours without feeling a thing, honest. And i don't ever turn off the 3D on the 3DS.
@leatopia I've used the 3D effect for countless hours, trying to get used to it. It pretty much blinds me after half a minute of use, and again the 3D effect of the 3DS is weak as hell. OLED is supposedly easier on the eyes than any other screen technology, it's on the other end of the spectrum.
@FFFan3445 The 3D effect is not deep?thats incorrect by a long shot- maybe its just your eyes being unable to adjust but the depth zone is incredible. Not many games try and used the "pop out of the screen" effect- they can but that causes more eye strain than just using pure depth. LOZ:OOT, SSF4:3D and Starfox have the best use so far on 3DS.Oled is easier on the eyes, but the screen has the worst life expectancy of other LED screens maxing at an average 5 years compared to 15years and higher.

Anyways, I'd much rather have a screen that's easy on the eyes for five years than a screen that's harsh on the eyes and has a major feature I cannot use. @leatopia Actually, it varies for each person. I lost my glasses and I had to buy a new pair. Before, with my old glasses, I could see really far into the screen, with my new glasses, the depth has decreased. As I got used to my new glasses the depth was a little bit better, but because my new glasses generally brought everything a bit closes, it got worse. It's also harder to find the 3D zone in the center now. I have first hand experience of both sides. :/
I really want to see more of this game. I was already interested, but now that I've seen it in motion and the game seems to break the fourth wall I'm really anticipating more information.
I'm happy that I own a japanese 3DS. I will import this game :).

XD I don't care about super good graphics, I loved Zelda Majora's Mask and want it on the 3DS, it's true that Sony's graphics of the same generation consoles are normally better, but this time around Sony is creating their PS Vita as a controller for their system, since adding more power isn't too much of a benefit for them this time around. People pay thousands of dollars to go around the world and see beautiful things, while others look them up on the internet, everyone likes different things. @CraigEmberson By the way, saying people will buy this game because it looks nice is of course another reason people buy playstation consoles and eventually the Wii U better graphics tend to make nature and other stuff look nicer. The Wii U will be more powerful and have better graphics than the PS3, though the PS Vita will have better graphics than the 3DS, though not in 3D of course. Console wars are dumb, the games are all that matter, it's not the power of the system, it's the enjoyability

@GDIdoujinmediaworks Well this trailer sucks, it shows almost nothing. It'll most likely release in Q4 2012 or later, considering the amount of content shown in the trailer(aka very little).
I'm personally not interested in this at all, as much as I wanna support third-party developers for the 3DS I'm just not interested in this at all.
I refunded my 3DS though, luckily. I'm waiting two or three years to rebuy a 3DS, the current model is an incomplete mess. Nintendo rushed their system, failed.

About 2-3 months ago, the status of the game was 60% complete, so it should be finished early next year. So,i would expect an Q1,or Q2 release for the game. Also, why did you buy a 3DS? The games right? Yet you where so inpatient that you returned it a few months later? Well, I, for one, am enjoying my handheld and it's bright future :P

@jimmyelgringito I bought the 3DS at $250 thinking that the 3D effect would blow me away, it gives me headaches immediately after I turn it on, even at the lowest possible settings. The single slide pad won't work well just like the single analog nub of the PSP, the lack of symmetry between the screens takes away the possibility for dual-screen gaming on the system, the top screen should be a touch screen and they shouldn't be resistive, they should be capacitive. Those are valid reasons.

@jimmyelgringito I wasn't very clear, when I said dual-screen gaming I mean like for bosses that are so big they take up both screens. Not only that but 2D gaming is kinda discouraged with the system while tons of 2D games are going to be available at the Vita's launch. I've never been a Sony fan(always Nintendo previously) but I'll definitely prefer the Vita to the 3DS.

@jimmyelgringito The 3D feature of the system totally discourages 2D, that's kinda the point of the system. Few people actually want to see 2D sprites pop out of their system.
The 3DS is getting A FEW 3DS titles that I can happily live without by the holidays, the Vita's launch games alone beat the 3DS' library by then to a pulp and the launch window is even better. I'm willing to pay $80 more for vastly superior hardware, I'd prefer a srs game device with innovative features to a kids' toy.

Sonic generations will only come out on the 360, ps3, and 3DS according to SEGA and ninja gaiden was confirmed by team ninja to show up on the 3DS.

A Batman game was also confirmed to hit the 3DS at some point, but they haven't made a single statement since. The Ninja Gaiden team has been talking about how they're considering a Ninja Gaiden game on the Vita right after NG3, but they've said nothing about the 3DS game yet; that's how it works, the 3DS bombed early and isn't as attractive now to devs.

@jimmyelgringito Super Smash Bros will probably hit in 2013, Ace Combat is a shitty series, Time Travelers looks like a retarded Japanese soap opera in game form, the Luigi's Mansion series has bland, repetitive gameplay, why play Heroes of Ruin when I've got Ruin(dohoho), Rodea's on Wii and probably better there, Lautrec looks disappointing so far(and I was initially interested), Street Fighter X Tekken > Tekken 3D, Shinobi looks like shovelware, Beyond the Labyrinth looks shitty so far

@jimmyelgringito Spider-Man: Edge of Time is hitting every system ever and I bet it'll be worst on 3DS, the 999 game is hitting the Vita as well, I doubt Paper Mario will be anywhere near as good as the Mario & Luigi RPG games, the only Persona games hitting the 3DS are overpriced remakes, Kid Icarus Uprising's controls are disgustingly bad(they prove that only having one analog stick is fail), it's been pretty much confirmed that Monster Hunter's hitting the Vita.

Mario & Luigi is much better than Paper Mario, that's a matter of opinion. SSF4 is a shitty game and it's worst on 3DS(after the laughable iPhone version), Mario Kart's the same old shit while Modnation Racers is gonna be way better, Super Mario 3D Land looks bland as fuck.

OLED is the most advanced screen technology in existence, with contrast ratios higher than 1,000,000:1, a perfect viewing angle, the most vibrant colors, the blackest blacks and the whitest whites. Each individual pixel on an OLED screen lights itself, it doesn't require a blacklight. It's energy efficient and I'm sure it'll be the standard for TVs and monitors in a decade. You obviously don't know a thing, fanboy.

@FFFan3445 OLed is more vibrant in color and can be viewed better in light, granted. But 3D has it advantages too. The two are very different technologies, once 3D is used effectively its easy to obtain the same "wow" factor with image quality/detail/space. 3D does cause eye tiredness in people who aren't used to it<- key word here. More use = more tolerance = longer tome played without breaks. I can go maybe 2-3 hours without feeling a thing, honest. And i don't ever turn off the 3D on the 3DS.

@leatopia I've used the 3D effect for countless hours, trying to get used to it. It pretty much blinds me after half a minute of use, and again the 3D effect of the 3DS is weak as hell. OLED is supposedly easier on the eyes than any other screen technology, it's on the other end of the spectrum.

@FFFan3445 The 3D effect is not deep?thats incorrect by a long shot- maybe its just your eyes being unable to adjust but the depth zone is incredible. Not many games try and used the "pop out of the screen" effect- they can but that causes more eye strain than just using pure depth. LOZ:OOT, SSF4:3D and Starfox have the best use so far on 3DS.Oled is easier on the eyes, but the screen has the worst life expectancy of other LED screens maxing at an average 5 years compared to 15years and higher.

@leatopia Actually, it varies for each person. I lost my glasses and I had to buy a new pair. Before, with my old glasses, I could see really far into the screen, with my new glasses, the depth has decreased. As I got used to my new glasses the depth was a little bit better, but because my new glasses generally brought everything a bit closes, it got worse. It's also harder to find the 3D zone in the center now. I have first hand experience of both sides. :/
