Kyurem fell in a meteor and if you play Black and you look at the pokedex is said Kyurem was overfilled with ice energy and the energy escaped, then in the process grew ice crystals all over it's body, meaning you will have an unfrozen gray creature along kyurem dosen't do much in Pokedex 3D, so, kyurem is going to be a weird creature and the game coding shows kyurem will have a new forme, Girantina and Shaymin had one in forme coding and so does kyurem so there will be a new forme.

If Kyurem gets a new forme, its signature move Glaciate should be 'upgraded'. The upgraded move should start with 'fission', since Zekrom and Reshiram knows Fusion Bolt and Fusion Flare, respectively. The opposite of fusion is fission, so it fits with Kyurem's lack of energy. The move should be called something like Fission Freeze, Fission Icicle, Fission Chill or something on those lines.

Kyurem is probably going to get a new form for a number of reasons. The reasons for Kyurem getting a new form are as follows:

1. Kyurem is weaker than the Reshiram/Zekrom, but it is the trio master, so it follows that it should have a new form to make it at least as strong as or stronger than its other trio members.

2. This trio has a formidable back-story. Reshiram/Zekrom used to be ONE dragon. Kyurem is likely related to that part of the story. Possibly the remains of the dragon?

3. Why not?

It's said that when you die, and your body gets really cold, that is because the soul has left. That explains why Kyurem is Ice Type. So yeah, you're right with reason 2.

If Kyurem has a new form, it's not going to be Steel type. At least I highly doubt it.

It's described as a dragon that fell on the earth with a meteor, and its design clearly shows his condition: broken wings, and covered in ice. Perhaps Kyurem will also have an original form, in the sense that will show how it was before he crushed on earth.

Actually if you noticed the text in the game or checked around there was a legend that Reshiram and Zekrom were once an whole entity, but when they split they left be a broken shell(Kyurem) So that's why he look's broken because in order to preserve his energy from the split he had encased himself in ice and some pieces chipped off because of it.

here's what I think, the entity that was both zekrom and reshiram was kyerem, this is what it used to look like, when it split up kyerem was what's still left of the true entity when zekrom and reshiram fought it came and reverten them to stones it then had to rest then it came down as a meteor near lacunosa town, which created the giant chasm (which is a result of the crash), and caused havoc (most likely looking for a way to turn back into its normal form)

I bet there will be an alternate form for Kyurem for Pokemon Gray. If you look at it's tail, there is some sort of generator or plug. It probably used to be some ice generator just like Reshiram and Zekrom's generators. I hope to find out soon! :)

As you probably know, both Reshiram and Zekrom produce energy in the form of fie and electricity, respectively. Kyurem, on the other hand, doesn't have a turbotail, like Reshiram and Zekrom. Ice represents the abcense of energy. What would Kyurem look like if he got energy? The ice on its body would probably melt, and Kyurem would become a Water/Dragon pokemon. Genesect's drives gives another clue about this. Shock Drive (Zekrom), Burn Drive (Reshiram), Chill Drive (Kyurem) and Douse Drive(?)

@Whitecichlid your right but some of kyurems ice (wings tail and face) is already melted so its not going to be a water/dragon type,in pokedex 3D you can see kyurems right wing is shorter than the left wing and parts of the ice on its face is melted too although nothing seems to be melted on its tail but it looks like something can be attached to it maybe an item or a turbotail that could transform kyurem into a new form! although its not clear why some of kyurems ice is melted.

I would say that Kyurem will remain Dragon/Ice. But I think they will make a new form. But they wont make it interchangable like with Giratina. This seems to be most likely due to the fact that Kyurem is incomplete in Black & White. I think it will be restored in the end of the main story of the game. Post game Reshiram and Zekrom will be available at Dragonspiral Tower.

@SpartanA932011 Good point, but it IS said that Kyurem was created when the original dragon split into Reshiram and Zekrom, so it is possible that when they are brought together there could be a second form, but i'll not be disappointed if there isn't one :)

@SpartanA932011 but there are two moves that only kyurem can know and aren't learnable in the game. theres ice burn and freeze shock which refer to the tao duo.

Kyruem has two moves it can`t learn by leveling or TM and Pokedex entries say it freezes itself because it can`t control its power

@SpartanA932011 i think he does. it says that there was an origional dargon of unova who split into reshiram and zekrom. Kyurem is all that remains of the origional body. So, if reshiram and zekrom became whole again it would show what kyurem used to be. Still, i don't think they'll make a pokemon gray. its too predictable.

@Mystrifol Giratina fits into the story of the creation of Sinnoh. Arceus, or "The original one", when it created Dialga and Palkia, also created Giratina. Giratina is in it's Origin Form in The Distortion World, and Altered Form on Earth.
