@drownoble It's the way it's shot and the way it's cut. you don't really see what it looks like when it's actually being played, you see two characters standing next to each other motionless, and one is hitting the other, repeat twenty times as a shot of the same power is continuously repeated. It shows the animation, but it doesn't really indicate how it looks when it's actually being used in the game. The direction and editing suck. Period.
@adrius You see exactly what it looks like when it's played. The point is to show off the powerset, not feature combat vs praetorian clockwork. You saw all the combo starters and finishers in the set. Not sure exactly what you're complaining about.

I like this - there are a lot of characters that don't necessarily have amazing talents or super powers. For roleplaying characters with Willpower, this would be the perfect offense. All the hero needs to do then is go home and be a family man.
Well Martial Arts has Cobra Strike and a nice variation animation but it ain't no STJ. I thought that they would take forever to release this. Maybe Titan Weapons and Staff Fighting are closer than we thought. 'Course it's only been seven years to have to wait for Staff Fighting....
So it is a variation of martial arts power set? I mean it looks like it is pretty much the same. Do not get me wrong I love and will always have love for COH/COV but they could have come up with a better power set then that.
@ManicOne80 No, it's not a variation of Martial Arts. MA was my favorite melee set until I got my hands on this in the Beta. I've been waiting for it ever since. Best. Melee. Set. Evar.
