Try to play with the classical left hand technique try to only play with the tips of your fingers, keep your thumb behind the neck, and try to keep your fingers close to the fretboard

Yeah, that is what i said. It does take talent. But thats not why i like it more. I'm just drawn to metal. There are more genres of music that take more skill, but i like metal. Rap doesn't take talent. Neither the production nor the actual rapping is very hard at all. Making a rock/metal song takes talent and skill. Everyone in the band has to work together to make it sound good. Rap doesn't. You only have to deal with yourself.
