Why is it that Virgin always get treated differently to other operators? I've never known Chiltern Railways to be given a diversionary route when their line was closed (after the GX tunnel collapse). It just doesn't seem fair. Chiltern are doing their best to maximise capacity on the two tracks they can use and then Virgin come along and mess up their schedule. Why?!!
I'm pretty sure Virgin would of had to pay Chiltern Railways to use their line and i doubt they would of let them them run the trains in the first place if they knew it would cause any disruption.
I suppose, but it stil doesn't seem very fair. Other operators have to use replacement bus services etc, but Virgin gets to run down another line! But if it raises money for Chilern, that's good.
and at week end the disruption is not quite as important
