You could put it over this case, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you want a case similar to what your describing, check out the Otterbox Defender, its a silicon case wrapped around a plastic case.

Hey I just saw the Xylo case but it was like bendy....

I know T2 is for iPod Touch and iPhone and

T3 is for iPhone 3G only right?

I'm confused...

Yes T3 is the new version of the T2 specifically designed for the iPhone 3G

It won't absorb any shock from falls or anything like silicon or leather does, and that allows the rupture to not entirely be diluted, and so it is not as safe as a rubbery and/or shock-absorbant material.

I dropped my iPhone while in this case and it absorbed the impact and didn't cause any damage. But of course silicon or leather would do a better job of protecting.

Thanks for the review. U are right about the loose back which makes it unuseable as is. However, I stuck a sheet of sticky backed felt on the inside of the case which makes the back slide on easier, protects the phone better, & solved the loose locking problem! Sorted!

Understandable. You don't have to take my word for it, you could always check it out yourself. I've actually stated in the comments above that I prefer the Case-Mate naked case over the Xylo T2. The Xylo is still a nice case though, and I'm not wearing an Ivyskin shirt right now :)

I don't like ivyskin.

The reasons are they always follow the design of iSkin, even on the website layout. They gives me a fake feeling. I won't buy fake iPhone, same for the skin.

naked case has a tighter enclosure but the xylo comes in cool colors. Overall I prefer the Case Mate Naked Case

There is the PRT iMirror Shield case, (which I've reviewed) and also the Case-Mate naked case which I'll be reviewing very soon ( I just received my sample two days ago, so far its the best out of the 3)

The case I use full time when I'm not testing out other cases is the Vaja Dockable case.
