Actually we cared lots about iraq way before the towers went down. the first gulf war was fought in '91 and in the 12 years between then and the current war, iraq had been warned by the un with at least 12 resolutions. regardless of the towers, the iraqi government presented a threat with it's financial and logistical support of other terrorist organizations like hamas and hezbollah. if that's not reason enough for action, then what is!
The insurgency is fighting coalition troops, because they're there to rob the nation, not free it. The info our government gives to the media to feed the public is bull. Bush's father lied to the People and that got us into the Gulf War. The Iraq War was waged based on false info. given to us by the neocons in the White House. U know Dick Cheney's oil pipes are bein' protected by our coalition troops? I gotta vid.
