I usually love your advice, but the second letter makes me a little angry. Who said that being fun and flirty involves acting less intelligent than you are? Why is it unattractive to display any sign of intelligence? This is such an awful way of viewing yourself. If someone thinks they have to be someone they aren't to get boyfriends that isn't okay. Being smart doesn't mean being boring.
Michele & Meg are awesome, but I didn't like this week's advice. It's funny, bc in Ninth Key (Mediator Series), Meg's character Suze said, "...how about the fact that I'm 16 and so far...I still haven't been kissed, much less asked out. Not a major big deal...but *humiliating* just the same."
I was 17 when I had my first kiss. It was with my first boyfriend(it was our third ''date''), and I was sick of waiting for him to kiss me, so I went and did it. :) It was empowering to me, and def. took a lot of pressure off of him. Suffice it to say, it definitely wasn't our last kiss!
Although sometimes when you are a loner, it's hard to find the guys you could make a connection with because they are also loners. And what do you do if you aren't attractive?
The relationship between you two guys seems like Mia and a (much nicer and cuter) Lilly.
I love you both. I wish Michele would go back to her weekly advice blog, though. She gave me such reallllly useful advice back in high school that I used all throughout college and helped me get my awesome boyfriend.
