  • I really like how you pay more attention to moving between objects faster that some crazy acrobatics :) I hate this shitty town in this shitty country where there are no objects at all :P or am i just not using my imagination :D xD

  • @mladen639 There are places to train, no matter where you live. You maybe just have to think more creatively ;)

  • OMG ITS CRAWLER! KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE! :D

  • the people around you guys think your a bunch of wachos lol, love the humor guys good job

  • healthmad(dot)com/fitness/secret-to-strength-and-size-gains/

tips on strength training, and achieving your desired results. also has sample workout plans for different body types and goals.

  • I like the cheap perspective.. : P

  • What about kids runnin around naked fucking in the bushes

  • I love the answer in the end...LOL

    This is Much cheaper!!!

  • u guys inspired me to push my limits in parkour! ty so much :)

  • These guys got the right idea gettin shit done

  • HOLY SHIT! Thats awesome stuff.

  • @302POPEYE Thanks. This is quite an old video now though. Have a look at part 2 ;)

  • @Obsidian1138 You often mention your second video on here, but would you recommend a beginner start with this one? I watch both of them tho, I just find the stuff in here challenging as it is. Any recommendations for winter Parkour? I found that it was near impossible, slipped on ice a few times and you have to wear gloves for metal, which tend to tear up pretty quickly. The only good thing about winter is that snow provides a soft landing lol.

  • your country came ready not like our countries ,my country is jordan and we don't have a street that doesn't have a crack how we should train please response

  • @ThePopman10 Cracks are cool

  • look up: Elite Physique Performance and watch the guy at the start jump 58inc

  • Cool, u guys. Are u living in USA? 'cause im going to US this summer and i want to train with u!

  • @painformypleasure We live in Manchester in the UK

  • @Obsidian1138 all right..u guys inspire me a lot ! We traceurs in China have all seen ur vid.

  • @painformypleasure Thanks. I'm glad that you found it useful, and good luck with your training in China! :)

  • HUNTER!

  • "the gym is right there?!" "this is much cheaper" LMAO. I like where ur heads at

  • Yeah. Tried most of these with a broken finger.. And now my wrist + finger are broken. Whoops.

  • nice video dudes!whats the name of the last song?i'd like to know...

  • I loved how you used a lot of the kill bill soundtrack <3 Quentin Tarantino's soundtracks always fit!!

  • I will do all of this <3

  • Just wondering, but is Parkour all self taught or are there lessons that are taken?

  • @MrChumFm Parkour is defenetely a self-taught, personally learned skill. You develope your own methods by fusing other people styles and patterns in your own way. Style isn't a part of "parkour" style is in "free running" where you would find all of your flips and crazy stunts.

  • I have ( i am portuguese soo please try and understand what i am about to say)

Lack of vision at far and i need glasses...

Could the use of glasses be a big setback?

  • what is a good weight to start parkour? because i really wanna start and im losing weight, but i just want to know when i should start. i weigh 205 right now and have a lot of leg muscle (from being fat) lol. please answer! :D

  • @27JWM27 Any weight is good to start parkour, because parkour training is scalable to the individuals own capabilities. Start with things you find comfortable, and progress slowly over time. Forget about the crazy moves you see in some videos, and think about what you personally want to achieve. Set yourself goals each time you train, even if they seem small. This way, you'll continually improve, and get real benefits from the training, whilst also losing weight :)

  • 0:48, is it a dog?.. is it a cat? NO! its freerunning man!

  • 158 people are insecure about their gym memberships.

  • the wall for 60ft not the same as the wall he jumped from, but is a good work out.

  • Comment removed

  • 158 people are too fat to do this

  • 158 dislikes??Why???I really don't get it.What's bad about the video?I love it.

  • You guys make that look soooo easy!!!

  • 4:33

    CARPOUR! ?

  • i coach gymnastics and still do it on my own time bu you guys have inspired me to do more condition and to start up parkour thank-you!

  • I am wondering if will be too tall for parkour because I am 13 and i wear freaking size 12 and im 5"7 by the time im in college my feet are going to be prolly 14 or 16 lol and i will be 6 feet tall.

  • 158 people are fat. -_-

  • The 158 people who disliked this are the mother's of kids who've tried that 60 ft drop ^^

  • 1) Hold your breath.

    2) Copy all of these steps.

    3) Go to two other video.

    4) Paste it in the comments.

If you can do all of this without breathing you're a good pot smoker.

  • how are you not shy to do this outside?

  • i wish there were empty bike racks like that in nyc for that kind of thing...

  • - "the gym's just down there pal"

    -"this is much cheaper"

    that made my day

  • lol the first song is called "fuckin in the bushes - Oasis"

  • 0:36 you make it look easy! you've got some upper body strength man...

those excercises really help me, especially with climb-ups.

    thank you!

    from Israel.

  • you guys are strong and hillarious but doing this stuff at the streets would give you really weird stares.

  • O.M.G.!

    You guys are THE TRUTH!!

That was Poetic..I think I'm gonna Cry

  • If i do these exercises in this and the other video, is that enough for strength training? I mean, of course I have to run and train my stamina, but for the strength part of parkour....

  • how can you do superman push ups there friken hard

  • nice inspirators video trenals....

  • did ya really jump 60ft?

  • @peter53366 No, it was a joke. Jumping 60 feet without injury is impossible ;)

  • @Obsidian1138 implossible but possible

  • @Obsidian1138 wow..4 years ago already..how yours skill?

  • @Obsidian1138 Not impossible, just highly unlikely. A man fell out of a plane without injury, but he was knocked out when it happened. So because he was knocked out when he hit the ground the vibrations ran right through him.

  • @Obsidian1138 nah not impossible not nearly

  • @Obsidian1138 was wondering what the song was called at 8:06? thanks

  • @sh9683 It's called 'Battle without honor or humanity', and it's from the Kill Bill soundtrack

  • @sh9683 thankyou!

  • @Obsidian1138 umm...i jumped off an 84ft bridge without injury. soo..it is possible

  • @CryingForLove1 into water maybe but on solid land? the figures way that waaaaay too much pressure would be exerted on your joints and bones. something would give. either that, or you've never seen an 60ft drop onto solid concrete... things just go splat!

  • @Obsidian1138 HAHA! I seriously thought that was real. HAHA! Great vid btw!

  • @peter53366 sure thing - it's easy - give it a try :-P

  • 5:13 is how they created the designs for the hunter on left 4 dead

  • I bet you guys love seeing the weird looks people give you when you do this, don't you?

  • what is the name of the song at 2:50 ? i recognize the guitar but forget the song name...

  • Thank You.

  • at what age is it too late to start doing this stuff?

  • @911adt It's never too late, because you scale the training to suit your current capabilities. We have people who train with us who are in their late 30's, and one or two who are in their 40's.

  • @Obsidian1138 oh crap thats good then thnx. im 18

  • @Obsidian1138 i am 14 , Extremely Agile .... Athlete at Heart , Fastest in my Grade ...... im 8th Grade , and 12th Graders Are faster than me by 0.2 Secs ..... so i kind of match them almost ....

and i am looking for a way to Start Training Parkour and Freerunning .... and i cant go to a gym in m ycountry because they all suck .... im in Bulgaria ( Europe )

so Can you Private message me so we can talk about this ? please

  • @Obsidian1138 Are the exercises in order? Do you have routines or a list of exercises that you have on your website? thanks.

  • @Tomlowlife There's no particular order. This video just shows a number of possible exercises. If you go on Northern Parkour, and search for the thread called 'no excuses session', that should give you a few good ideas for a weekly conditioning regime.

  • i'm 19..5'10 and 150 lbs.. i want to gain muscle...what i have on my body is fat..i look skinny but ive a belly i bought a weight gainer..not muscle supplement cuz it was mad exzpensive.. it has 500ml of water...1g of fat 200 calories 8.5g pf protein 13.5g sugars and 38g carbs (thats the serving) i want to lose my belly and fain muscle what exercises do you recommend for my training for parkour? thanks a lot any and all advice is appreciated!
  • @wtfudgewht Train train train train train and train some more broha, don't copy other styles, go to a local park, or place where theres lots of things you can climb on, set a point A and a point B and go at it in your own kind of fashion. Oh, and have fun :)

  • lol i dont need to lose wieht but gain it im not a super model now its my jeans but i love parkour and am not half bad at it + skateboarding helps good vid

  • 8:15

up your head it works better.

  • perfect training for sundays when I don't have gym

  • What the name of this song ! Please help! ^^

  • This is some seriously motivating stuff! Even if you never want to do parkour, these alone make for some fun and incredible challenges :O

  • the only reason why im losing weight is because of this shit i wanna do it sooo badly

anyone got tips for me to lose weight quickly?

  • @kingstomman What these guys do is spectacular for weight loss and getting in shape. But check out Ross Enamait some time too. I weigh 260+ pds and in a period of months I was doing basic handstand pushups and in as good condition as any sporting competitor (mind u I am getting back into shape after getting lazy with the old lady for a few years lol). It comes through constant effort.

  • @shkotay thanks alot for the tips

  • i really wonder what the pedesrians were thinking as u guys were doin this

  • @if1ookscouldkill The entire front of the body, plus calf.

@Anwarboy786 Parkour IS bodyweight exercise. You don't need to do anything other than Parkour for Parkour.

@UrbanSomething This was filmed in an evening. Generally we do a variety of exercises whenever we train.

@titandown Try it yourself and see! I find going up backwards harder.

  • 0:36 isnt going down harder?

  • Is it true that doing bodyweight exercise is essentially all you need for parkour.

  • YOu look retARded doInG thaT... BuT IT lOOks To Be a GoOd traiNing

  • lol u have to use your inner monkey :)

  • at 7:00 what muscles are you using to push yourself up

  • @if1ookscouldkill same thing i was wondering

  • So I have a question, do you guys have your own team? Are sponsored by anyone? If so, I wish to know how to become involved. My area (Californa) is completely barren of anyone practicing Parkour, atleast within my city limits. I've been going solo for some time, and I wanna know what is required to join a team and find other like minded individuals.

  • @Episcopicide No, we don't have a team and aren't sponsored by anyone. Elites/teams and corporate advertising go against the cooperative and helpful spirit, and they have no place within Parkour.

You don't have to join a team to train with other people, you just need to know where other practitioners are and be able to get there. Parkour practitioners are friendly people, they'll never turn away people that want to train. :)

  • @Episcopicide DUDE I FACE THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!! Im not alone thank GOD!! :-D

  • what do you do to increase your air time and your height when jumping?

  • @MonsterSpartan Simple answer, exercise that involves trying to jump higher.

  • what is the song at 5:22??

  • aite thanks for letting me no, do u guys still skip days or is it an everyday training coarse? I havent started training for parkour so i wouldnt no

  • @jessecullen It depends on how much your push yourself with the exercises and therefore how tired you are. You can do lighter exercise every day, or harder exercise every other day, or very hard exercise maybe once a week.

You just need to make sure that you give yourself enough time to recover from whatever you've done.

  • you do this strenght training every day man?

  • Do you guys just go out say Monday,Wednesday,Friday do full body exercise until you are able 2 pull yourselves up walls over fences just at ease? or do you guys do upper body 1 day lower the next skip a day and repeat?? whats the variations between days. I see alot of good ideas but not any of the variations upon what your training and when. sick video tho

  • @jessecullen Almost all movement uses the whole body. I usually practise a full range of movements in each session that involve using each part of my body fully.

If parts of me have recovered at different rates then sometimes it's possible to move in ways that allow those parts to keep resting. Generally though, Parkour is full body exercise.

  • ANy tips on Barefoot Parkour?

  • @alexlg18 Pretend you're an absolute beginner. Better yet, pretend you're a baby learning to move. Shoes make a big difference and you need to start again with the very basics of movement to avoid damaging your ankles and feet doing movements that the rest of your body can easily handle. Vaults, jumps and precisions will almost certainly be too much for your bare feet to handle if you've not trained barefoot before.

Crawl, roll, walk, climb, and then try running, and then jumping.

  • Hell ya nice. this video really helped alot. parkour for the mind and body!

  • "This is much cheaper" haha awesome ending!!!! thanks for the inspiration!

  • Comment removed

  • What do you call that Bridge/Push up/Crunch move at 7:00?

  • @DJMC141

I call them 'Determination-ups' rather than 'push-ups' because when I first started doing them I wouldn't move anywhere until I'd been pushing for a full second or so, meaning that I had to be determined to keep pushing until I started moving.

Like most movements I expect they have many names.

  • When u do the stair training u shouldnt shake ur ass so much u gotta kweep ur body perfectly straight

  • @justingtxy

    Do you mean the crawling?

Keeping your hips still changes the exercise. It makes it harder in some ways, which could be interpreted as better, but equally that could be interpreted as unnatural. If you want to move naturally keep looking for the easiest way, not the hardest way.

  • You guys are pretty fun. I like your style. That's what parkour is all about. Doing something because you want to. I'm getting myself into shape and i'm planning on beginning my own little parkour fun times soon. I've been doing a lot of bodyweight exercises and i've started swimming a lot. How long have you guys been working out.doing parkour?

  • @TheShowerEpiphany Good to hear you've been getting in bodyweight exercises. It's a good way to stay in shape, and free!

I've been training for 5 and a half years now.

  • @Obsidian1138 I love the free aspect. It occupies time so i'm not bored and it saves me money troubles. I have a lot of work to do still. Would you have any recommendations for a good beginners exercise routine? I'm fairly sure that i am unable to do everything that you guys do right now.

  • @TheShowerEpiphany Good luck :)

  • Are excersising CD programs (like px90) good for parkour strength training?

  • je kiff

  • @UrbanSomething Well, bodyweight exercises are the most relevant exercises you can do for parkour, so you really don't need to invest much in equipment. Some of the exercises shown in this video can be tried at home, and you can always do extra stuff such as push ups and pulls ups. Try to add in some cardio too. Go for a run around your local area.

  • @Obsidian1138 the only equipment you need for parkour is cloths and trainers really

  • i love when the guy said " the gym is just down there" and you said " this is much cheaper" , it's like , ok, now what should I answer O_O??? hahahahaha XD , BTW. good vid

  • yo yo camera man how u drive with no hands???

(just kiddin cuz here u drive on da RIGHT!)

  • 0:24 - 0:27 now that's a pushup..lmao

  • im having trouble climbing up walls any tips. please respond if u can

  • @hallawelld Keep practicing. Consider buying a pull up bar too, as this will help to build the strength necessary to pull yourself up walls.

  • how often do you train these exercises? i've always been told not to work out every day, so i was curious how often i should train/how much.

also if anyone else has made a routine out of the exercises in this video i'd love to hear about it...comment or message, either way it would be appreciated.

  • @GuitarFreak369 We have a dedicated conditioning session once a week, but we train parkour 3 or 4 times per week all together :)

  • What are those things you jump over and go under? They look like hurdles, not sure where I'd find something like that. I've just recently grown interested in Parkour and it's incredibly addictive. I used to like jogging, but it got boring sometimes and I'd lose interest. With Parkour everytime out is like a new challenge :D

  • @fringelife They're bike rails

  • @Obsidian1138 Thanks... all the bike rails we got here are small ones. There's really nothing I can use for that one at all, so it's one of the things I have to try and improvise on.

  • During the sped up driving scene all I could thing was, "Oh no, you're on the wrong side of the road!" lol Well done. Very good video.

  • bettter than U.S. army trainings

  • insane

  • Haha! You guys must get a lot of confused stares.

  • very useful I tried this its getting easier to do parkour now! especially comng up from cats!

  • Thanks for the video. I'm currently on a training program to increase my speed and overall body strength, It's going great, after seeing you're video, I've increased the potential for awesome work-outs by using some of what I've seen in part 1 and 2. Sweet. =)

  • i'm always afreid i'll smash my face going backwards up the stairs.. not because it would hurt, but because i'm clumsy =/

  • near the end your doing the press ups wrong because uve got ur head down... u shud always have u head faceing forward and go down further

  • Thanks for all the insight guys. I run conditioning sessions/training sessions at my school and we already do a lot of similar exercises but I've learned a lot from this video and I will definitely be incorporating some of these into our regimen!

  • @PKpurenergy Glad to hear you found the video useful :0 Good luck with your training!

  • Also, I'd like to have a chat with your long-haired friend. :D

  • I've a feeling I'm going to be very sore the next day.

  • nice dude nice... I'm starting to train can u give me any tips I live in a apartment.

  • @btherr01 There are things you can do in an apartment, such as crawling, push ups, pulls ups, squats, etc. It's better if you can train outside though, as you'll have a much larger area available to you, with greater potential for more varied exercises.

  • fuk me 60 foot drop!!! nice mate

  • dude, you guys are crazy! its awesome!

  • man i would love to do parkour but i have to lose like 15 pounds to do it

  • Hey, do you know if there are any open gyms in Manchester? Ones with foam pits, mats or whatever. Can't really find any :P

    Great vid!

  • cocky gym guys >:( booo! i workout at home much cheaper xD

  • Do you care to tell me your exercises? Reps and all?

I have low stamina. And I'd like to know how to get it up.

I really want to start doing parkour/free running

  • WTF? (o.O)

  • i've watched this vid several times and just cant get enough of it, makes me want to train my a** off every time is see it. amazing! :D

  • @WitChd0kt0r29 Thanks. I'm actually working on a sequel to this at the moment. Expect to see it by the end of May :)

  • @Obsidian1138 hey me and my mate have just started free running and par core and u guys look sik and make me wanna train proper fuking hard. need some help on learning easy triks and techniques anyone got any tips useful websites or anything??? fuk me 60 foot drop!!! nice mate

  • @WitChd0kt0r29 SAME

  • DUDE THAT JUMP WAS HUGE!!!! LOL that was funny

  • I need to know, do you guys ever run your hands through gum while crawling?

  • 60 Foot?????? Is that possible? The video doesn´t show the real jump, but...that boy jumped?

  • Name of song at the beginning?

  • @MateloXTREME It's "F*cking in the bushes" by Oasis

  • @Obsidian1138 Sweet thanks! BTW I thought you were pissed at me for asking but it was the song title haha thanks again

  • @Obsidian1138 Sweet I appreciate! BTW I thought you were pissed at me for asking but it was the name of the song haha. Thanks again

  • its called circus clown with shit music, not parkour

  • my god I'd crash driving in manchester... driving on the left side ughhh
