@crazydave1011 They were from our first year of Halloween in O.U. We went as "Beer Themed Transformers" The silver one is Natimus Prime....the Natty Light version of Optimus. The purple one is Coronacon...the Corona Decepticon. But now, they're just the retired veterans of a previous Halloween, in the man cave.
For cardboard and duct tape, that's pretty dam good. And you used led's too. All you gotta do now is fine tune it, make the pieces not as bulky, a little bit more of hard work, and hell, MK.II perhaps?
wow.. I must commend you on the meticulous detail and time you put into your costume.. great workman ship my friend.. I don't know of anyone else that could accomplish what you did with cardboard/duct tape/small electronics.. very cool..
swing by my channel to see my motorcycle helmets.. you might like my IRON MAN motorcycle helmet.. it has LEDs and a retractable inner shield.. be cool.. tigerpause
@MrUltimateProGamer Wow, you don't say? Who knew i used L.E.D.'s, there isn't light coming from my face, chest and hands or anything? Wow, lol. Perhaps next time before you make such a awesome observation and post with such ridiculous spelling, you'd read the video's description, i wrote "Few electronic accessories". You = Moron.
@clownsrback1 Thanks alot man! I as well as my friend Alex, Greatly appreciate your compliments. We worked really hard, wanting to in fact make something great out of something cheap, proving we can do anything, even with the most inexpensive of materials. Be sure to stick around, we'll be uploading more c-board costumes for this year's halloween! Not Iron Man this year....it's going to be better.
@cowsthateatglue It's separate mounted individual L.E.D. lights, all wired to an individual battery pack embedded into the faceplate on the inside. I can toggle the switch anytime i desire by lifting the front faceplate.
@Terreos It's not as bad as you'd think. I made it so the lights are in the eyes, pretty much infront of your own eyes, but i made sort of a top down blinder to prevent the light from shining towards me, only outward.
@decade57 This sentence doesn't exactly make much sense, lol. But i'll assume you meant "it suits me when it's Halloween" Well, if you happened to read anything on here, you'd see....it was made FOR Halloween...lol.
@altiairdavinci661 Haha, of course I did, i just so happen to not put up the actual Halloween or there after works, these were wayyyyy before OCT 10''....I'll be putting up plenty more soon, haven't had the time. Both of us are head to toe covered, stay tuned, will be up sometime soon.
you know what you should do to pro it up? you shoul put a layer of fiber glass resin down, then some putty and sand that after it dries, then 1 more layer of fiber glass resin. And sand one more time unless you like it to be shiny
@Joshalots Well, we both had the idea of making both of our suits out of PVC High Impact, Poly-Urethane and lists of other materials, but given the factor of time, we weren't able to pull it off in the time we had. We are sort of known as the cardboard kings in our town, so we wanted to stay true to what we knew best. While a more realistic approach looks great, there are too many reproductions and not enough customs. Kinda like the shiny get-up. But for next time, we may do just that.
@chewit585 Haha, thanks friend, for checking out my suit ! And actually, it's not gold. But it IS duct tape. Duck brand silver duct tape, at your local wal-mart for 3.47 a pop. They make yellow....but it's more canary yellow. Since i couldn't find an authentic enough gold color, i stuck with red and silver.
@Exeter002 Could have spray painted the duct tape with the Krylon gold colors. They are found in hobby shops like....Hobby Lobby......Im making a costume for my robotics team and all...and so Im doing it with duct tape and cardboard as well. But Krylon paint brands are superb if you have not tried em.
@saleebymen This video was made just a few days ago, so with everything I have done (Iron Man) it has taken us since the dead beginning of march. Give or take a few weeks of time where my friend (War Machine) went on vacation. But figure 7 months.
That's well cool!
