Why doesn't CBS talk about the real story. Which is that fire safe cigarettes are making people very sick and that FSCs are fire hazards in themselves.

According to the USFA, causes of residential fires between 1998 and 2007 were due to cooking (26.4%), heaters (11.4%), candles (5.4%), smoking (2.1%), kids with matches (0.4%), with 36.4% unknown.

I say put FSC added ingredients in candle wicks and see how long people think FSCs are a good idea.

Connecticut has had multiple fires caused by FSC cigarettes since the law went into effect on July 1, 08. Most recently, Shelton High School was nearly destroyed when an FSC cigarette was carelessly tossed into a janitors closet. The Coalition for Fire Safe Cigarettes says that they have been very careful to let people know that these cigarettes will not stop ALL FIRES. But, they will cause them! These are the folks directly behind taking away our rights as consumers.

Oh, don't worry, no one up in here is lying. They taste terrible, like a chemical and they won't stay lit if you aint puffin....I have had some chest discomfort. My usual brand went fire safe, and I can't taste a difference. In some situations it was annoying, but in ohters it was beneficial.
