They had them for work, but these locust have some nice technology, when the locust troops are quite.. well thick. Maybe some superior locust (or maybe the creators of the locust) have experimented on humans, creating crossbreeds etc. Plus, i'm guessing that the cogs haven't covered a quarter of the tunnels... Who knows what else is down there, since the planet is like bloody leerdammer cheese!

when i watched this after the credits i think i wasted 10 minutes of my life trying to watch that, i think that a good ending was my question answered, if 2 dizzys were in a torture chamber together would they go brokeback?
i think that they mutated adam fenix and made him say that because in a multiplayer map callled ruins there is 2 torture chambers going in a circle close to the lambent. also adam fenix was on a locust computer when he told marcus to sink jacinto.

That, or Fenix wanted them to sink Jacinto, and told the Queen what it would do, perhaps thinking that by losing their main base, the humans would try to ally to the Locust, and maybe, MAYBE spark an alliance. One can always hope for peace. Later, he must've found out exactly why it was so bad. He was hoping to be remembered for saving humanity, maybe, but sinking Jacinto had unintended results..an unintended legacy.
One of my theories is that the recording you hear in the final chapter of Act 4 was forcefully made ( The Queen forced Adam to say it), or was said before Adam could find out the full effects of sinking Jacinto. Thus would explain why he seems so surprised, because people listened to the recording.
Well it is most likely correct that Adams plan of sinking Jacinto was wrong and really FUBAR'D the COG. Hell could have sparked a new race of enemies for all we know, we can only imagine.
I'm guessing that the imulsion under Jacinto is mixing with the ocean and is going to turn the oceans toxic and Adam realized that. And that's probably why the locust queen was talking about unintended legacies. I also think the Locust are humans who were exposed to massive amounts of imulsion. if you look at the map "Ruins" you see the pods locust use to hold prisoners suspended above imulsion. Plus the sires could be a experiment to see if this fact is true.
and maybe they thought they wernt going to win so they captured cog and were going to torture them and then dip them into imulison to turn them to human hating locust. I never beat gears 1 but i think now why Marcus was court marshaled
and thrown in jail because he refused orders and went to save his Dad. But thats just mt opinion and nobody has to agree

i think that when the sargent guy was telling them about the 2 option s they had to fight queen or flood underground. and they said adam
fenix through out the flood one. i bet in the next game it reveals that adam fenix had nothin to do with the flood idea. and someone inside the gears corporation was working with the locust. the flood probably washed everyone away but with all the goo stuff and it made them stronger or something, just to throw out, what do you think?

They had them for work, but these locust have some nice technology, when the locust troops are quite.. well thick. Maybe some superior locust (or maybe the creators of the locust) have experimented on humans, creating crossbreeds etc. Plus, i'm guessing that the cogs haven't covered a quarter of the tunnels... Who knows what else is down there, since the planet is like bloody leerdammer cheese!

Well, maybe it has something to do with the fact that the bomb is still down there, and there is imulsion. Maybe the imulsion reacts with the bomb, or the innards of it, making a superior sort of lambent locust.
Maybe the exploding brumak sent emmulsion into places it shouldnt have gone, collapsing underground caves, possibly creating.. lambent humans?! Not much depth into why they started torturing humans ey?

The locust were running away from the lambent locust, thats why they wanted to set up the bomb, to flood them out. They wanted us off the surface so they could survive and prosper right? Which is why they hadn't attacked in the past. Because they had a threat.

I think Adam Fenix was saying that sinking Jacinto was a big mistake..Worser than thinking that the Locust were desperate and wanted to sink it is that they wanted the COG sink Jacinto..I think it was a trick..I think some crazy shit is about to happen in gears 3.

One of the collectibles you get when you're in New Hope is a Doctor's log about a girl whose name is Emma (I think) about her hair changing and nails growing differently than the others, and 'she has to be watched more closely', or something like that. I think THAT was the creation of the Locust Queen. Given Adam Fenix's detailed knowledge of the Locust tunnels in the original, and his voice showing up on the computer, I'd say Adam had some involvement with the creation of the Locust.

lol, it sounds funny. Like a bad Charleton Heston imitation. One of the next obstacles for gaming is improving the acting.
Gears of War 2 was a great game though. So much fun! I hadn't had that much fun with a video game in years.
My only minor gripe was the ending was perhaps a bit too easy.

i think that they mutated adam fenix and made him say that because in a multiplayer map callled ruins there is 2 torture chambers going in a circle close to the lambent. also adam fenix was on a locust computer when he told marcus to sink jacinto.

That, or Fenix wanted them to sink Jacinto, and told the Queen what it would do, perhaps thinking that by losing their main base, the humans would try to ally to the Locust, and maybe, MAYBE spark an alliance. One can always hope for peace. Later, he must've found out exactly why it was so bad. He was hoping to be remembered for saving humanity, maybe, but sinking Jacinto had unintended results..an unintended legacy.

One of my theories is that the recording you hear in the final chapter of Act 4 was forcefully made ( The Queen forced Adam to say it), or was said before Adam could find out the full effects of sinking Jacinto. Thus would explain why he seems so surprised, because people listened to the recording.

I'm guessing that the imulsion under Jacinto is mixing with the ocean and is going to turn the oceans toxic and Adam realized that. And that's probably why the locust queen was talking about unintended legacies. I also think the Locust are humans who were exposed to massive amounts of imulsion. if you look at the map "Ruins" you see the pods locust use to hold prisoners suspended above imulsion. Plus the sires could be a experiment to see if this fact is true.
