If you want to know what aggressive sales are, try walking alone through kabukicho on a friday night, quite an experience. When I was there this summer I had someone trying to get me into their strip club or trying to sell sex from the moment I took one step in till I left the street. It was like a relay race with salesmen switching once I took one step out of their territory unto the next.
