I have got a problem and I cant find the customer support. I bought the Reecharge and charged it on my computer. Now there are three lights burnging when pressing the button in the middle. Then I tried to charge my Iphone. I pluged it in and pressed the button on the right, the charge out Button. But it doesnt charge. There is no reaction. I tried it with two Iphones --> with both it doesnt work. How can that be? Is it just broken down? Or is the Reecharge just crap? I am disap. and need help!
@Likunder, there have been complaints about charging with the iPhone 3GS in general. Other branded chargers seem to have similar issues. For more detailed help, please write to service at thinkbiologic dot c om. BioLogic's service department should be able to shed more light on this issue. Cheers.
I had the mount fail and destroy my iPhone on a perfectly smooth road. Major design flaw: Two tiny, thin opposing plastic tabs are all that hold the iPhone case to the bar mount. If you, for instance, pull your water bottle out of the downtube cage to take a drink and accidentally knock the underside of the iPhone, the phone flies off the bar. In my case, the supposedly impact-resistant case opened on impact with the ground, spilling the phone onto the pavement where it was run over by an SUV.
@TheNiggaWidAttitude, we're sorry to hear that your iPhone got damaged during your mountain bike ride, that was very unfortunate. The Bike Mount, however, isn't designed to be used under very rough conditions like mountain biking, just on roads and relatively smooth surfaces.
I purchased the Biologic mount and it does NOT stay attached to the mount. I discovered this the very first time I used it when I went to do something on my iPhone and the case fell off into a puddle of water. I also realized that this is NOT weatherproof, you should not advertise it as such. It is weather resistant, but my phone got wet when it was raining.

It has such potential but it's just not there. I'd love to be contacted for a replacement, maybe I just got a bad one. Message me.
@jazjon The iphone 4 fits in this case. The camera hole at the back covers the lens a little and the flash is hidden, but it works just fine. Ive read reviews that say it can pop open, so I add one of those silicon wrist band that charities sell to provide an extra bit of security.
@700ko, the BioLogic Bike Mount for iPhone will fit on the handlebars of motor bikes as well. There is a guy who mounted it on his Ducati Monster 696 motorcycle with good results. He (CGDaveMac) posted some videos about this on YouTube so you can check those out for more info.
@iTehTunePawd, the ReeCharge's USB 2.0 output at 5V is rated between 200mA~850mA depending on device. The time to recharge a mobile device via USB would be about 1-2 hours depending on device.
@grantwine and @bigxmac, there were some manufacturing delays but things are now back on track. We expect the finalized packaged product to be available sometime in the next month or so.
It is May 3, 2010 and I have yet to find the Biologic ReeCharge unit for sale anywhere! Dahon, when is this thing going to be for sale in bike stores??
I've asked in some top end bike stores in New York City and Washington D.C. and although some sell the Biologic Bike Mount, most are not even aware of the ReeCharge unit and none know when it will be available!
Btw, please make the mount for the iPhone holder MUCH STURDIER! It would also be better for it to be in the middle of the holder.

I have a blackberry 9700. I use my googlemaps and mp3 player on my blackberry. Are you guys planning to come out with a similar mount for the blackberry 9700?
@yoramchen, the ReeCharge can be mounted to most any bike, including mountain bikes. The ReeCharge is designed to be charged by most bicycle dynamo hubs, but if your bike doesn't have a dynamo hub you can first charge the ReeCharge (it can also be charged via a regular wall outlet) and then mount it to your bike to use.
Are there any plans to offer a universal ReeCharge. Maybe one that mounts to the seatstays, chainstays, or downtube, which may incude a mini-flywheel to bi-pass the need for a dynamo hub. Using the rim wall to charge instead of a custom hub?
Can you tell me, can the biologic be easily unclipped from the bike to stop it being stolen? I can see you can take the phone out easily, but does the entire unit come off easily?
@AndyScott2244, you can attach and remove the Bike Mount case from the handlebar mount through a simple quick release clip. This way, you take your iPhone together with the case when you're away from your bike.

Will this awesome iPhone mount also work on my Vespa LX?
Bordyl 1 year ago
@Bordyl, the mounting bracket fits handlebars and stems 38 mm (1.5”) or less in diameter, so if your Vespa bar meets this spec, it should fit fine.

If you made it deeper and included several sheets of removable foam padding it would be possible to use a back-up case style extra battery!

looks like a nice case, but $54 at Amazon - a little on the expensive side for a piece of plastic.

Will a new one be out soon for the iPhone 4? I just bought a new Pedego Umbrella 16 Electric bike and this iphone mount looks cool.

How many miliamps does it put out? 1000mA or 500mA? because that makes a huge difference for charge time.

What about newer and upcoming Palm devices (Pre (Plus), Pixi (Plus) and the rumoured-to-be-available-by-the-mid-year Palm device)?
LeoInterHyenaem 1 year ago
@LeoInterHyenaem, if there is enough demand, we'd definitely consider making a mount for other types of handsets.
