  • OH LOOK!!! Biff watched this video! (hint: the one dislike)

  • I just started humming this out the blue @ work and a co worker joined in....SHEEN!

  • guuuuh that tenor... love it

  • Sax player's using a Tenor, am I correct?

  • @jjlevito Yes, that's right. Perhaps he is using a metal mouthpiece, maybe an Otto Link.

  • I've seen this scene so many times and love it. Now I notice weird things like : why does he need binoculars...?

  • I like how scenes from both films were seamlessly combined. That and the song.

  • All I know is we got less than 4 years 'til flying cars and hover boards.....

  • Good job! Love this song and movie too. Thanks.

  • who can possibly dislike this song???

    Maybe it was biff (aha)

  • I had to learn this on the piano because I human trumpet it too much

  • Thank you for posting this! I took my 4.5 month old nephew to a street fair and he started smiling at a saxophonist playing this song. You've made it easy to find on the internet (good quality, too). Now my nephew is smiling and dancing to it at home. :)

  • @djnaughtynurse ohh, I'm glad to have helped

  • @djnaughtynurse He has good taste already. I hope he stays that way. :D

  • ...... Let's set the record straight............THIS TRACK was NOT recorded by the "ACTORS" in blue jackets portraying "Starlighters" band....... In fact, it was recorded entirely by STUDIO MUSICIANS....... I know this, because I'm the one who plays the sax solo and receives royalties every year. Ray Pizzi

  • @raypizzi so?

  • @raypizzi You go Ray! Love that song!!!

  • @raypizzi it is played on tenor or alt?

  • @raypizzi it is played on tenor or alt?

  • @ambibu Tenor sax, alto is the medium size sax.

  • @raypizzi Great man! Who are you and how much do you charge?

  • @RW00632 understatement of the century!

  • Bad-ass Shit!

  • Great song. Great sax. That horn is worth a fortune nowadays. i should know... I have one. Not as good a shape, but it definitly does the job.

  • Is this a real song or made for the movie?

  • @mulliganmaisy it'a an actual hit from the 50's, you can find many versions on youtube, even a james brown one

  • @mulliganmaisy For the movie.

  • @mulliganmaisy Its called "Night Train". Total CLASS

  • Brilliant song

  • @RW00632 Maybe in 2015 we can look forward to Jaws 10 being a hit.

  • @RW00632 I honestly like it better that there aren't movies like this nowadays. This film wouldn't be as special if there were others like it :) I love the fact that I'm 16 and my favorite songs/movies are from many decades before I was even born.

  • This movie is so the best scifi movie eVER

  • how the hell do you make a tenor sound jazzy like that? that raspy sound.

  • never mind its growling

  • raspy, sexy same thing.

  • raspy, sexy the same thing with it comes to saxophones.

  • @JDMGTP begin to introduce your VOICE as you play. Try it

  • @kssearch I did, it's pretty tough, you have to mix the right formula for every note or it doesn't sound right.

  • I LOVE this song! I play it in Jazz band at school

  • Ha! I played it in Jazz band too when I was a teenager!

  • @MOESEWICHt1 unnecessary profanity man.................

  • @starfly7

sorry i'm atheist. but it wasn't my intention to insult someone with it!

  • @MOESEWICHt1 No worries mate

  • There were not many movies like that made in 1985 either.

  • no its based on jimmy forrest the original composer

  • Forrest is not the original composer. The tune was born in a jam session in 1940. Here, Duke Ellington's alto saxophonist Johnny Hodges played the riff. In 1945, Ellington composed his "Deep South Suite", and one of the movements was this blues called "Happy-Go-Lucky Local". At that time, Forrest was part of Ellington's band, and some years later he released this version of the blues as "Night Train", and it became a succesful R&B single

  • i love this film!!
